will the second time reduce the euphoria to none. I am almost imune to nothing the 2nd time. its 12 hours difference. They are poppy pods

Not sure if it varies for different Opiates but for most it will be only be slightly decreased if you decide to re-dose in a day.

Occasionally I get MORE euphoria on the second dose of the evening, so I'd say no but I am speaking from experience with heroin. Pods could be different.

it will depend on the opiate as some are pro drugs like codeine that must be converted by enzymes to be active. Having said that most opiates are active themselves without this conversion so for them the diminishing effect with redosing will be less.

With codeine I find I must wait 8 hours for the redose to be worthwhile or my liver is too depleted of the required enzymes CYP2D6 namely. Since poppy pods have a large range if opiods it is concievable that more than a few need certain liver levels to be felt.

It depends on the half-life and the time between doses. For example some opiates with a particularly short half-life (such as hydromorphone) redosing later in the day (like 12 hours later) should yield an equal amount of euphoria as the first dose has had enough time to clear out. Now say you had some morphine which has a longer half-life, and you dose 6 hours after your initial dose. There will be less Euphoria as the first dose is still highly active in one's body.
