Even as a hobbyist musician who listens to a ton of music, giving up music for a week would be far easier for me. I unintentionally do it a couple times a year. But I'd probably pick the internet to get a nice break from it.One more before i log off for breakfast and chores. If you had to................
Give up music or give up the internet for one week?
Homeless on the streets or jail for one week?
Be stuck in a crappy relationship because at least you aren't alone or actually be alone?
Omelets and home fries or Belgian waffles and bacon?
Beer , liquor or wine for happy hour?
I'd rather be homeless than in jail. The two difficult parts here (Assuming you get money for food + water) are not having anywhere to shower and having to either sleep in questionable places or stay up for a full week. I got kicked out a lot when I was 15-16 (usually only for a few days but one time for a few weeks) and it sucked but I always managed by couch-surfing and/or just staying up for a few days. Sometimes I'd pass out on the bus and the drivers (the night ones are lazy and drive right past you but the rest of them are quite nice) would just let me sleep till the end of the route. I ended up selling shrooms, acid, and edibles during the period that kept happening so that I always had food to eat. The whole ordeal was pretty stressful and I think it fucked me up more than I realized, but I had my first couple hypomanic episodes during that time which probably 1. were related and 2. helped with the not having anywhere to sleep, since I often couldn't sleep anyways. Still beats jail though.
Alone > bad relationship. Made that choice last year.
Belgian waffles and bacon 1000%. On their own both of them beat the competition, and eating with the maple syrup and bacon on the waffles is one of my favorite breakfasts.
Same here, though depending on my mood I'd usually go for liquor instead.beer, high abv% craft beer
