If you had the choice, what would be YOUR maintenance drug?

Say you had the powers to change the law, and, in a harm minimisation way, you could bring in a law that said you could go into a doc's and say "I'm addicted to this, please prescribe me this."
For instance, a heroin addict could go in and get heroin, but also methadone, bupe, morphine, oxy etc. etc.
No drug is off limits, a methamphetamine addict could get pure meth, but also dexamphetamine, hell man, even psylocybin.
It's your choice.

At the moment I'm addicted to methadone and heroin, but think if I could get away with pure, infinite supplies of a maintenance drug, it'd be oxycodone. I think. I could try for a month, and swap (this is also possible).

I'm quite aware this wouldn't work....but it's food for thought.

As much as i used to love OCs before the generics and multitudes of media attention,, it would be my first thought but really it would never do as a maintenance drug for me nor would any that had a good rush, that would probably end with me chasing a few more than i should or needed each day,, so ill just stick with what works now and imagine it wasnt several hrs drive away. Methadone-liquid , also maybe not mentioned but some of my old choices that once worked well, no longer have any good effects last time ive tried some of them.

I take Oxycodone. I would “maintain”?? with Oxmorphone + Flurophenibut.

good ol' Bayer diacetylmorphine with oxy pills on top, I would switch between them. and my daily dose of benzos, wouldn't even need marihuana. oh and vials of midazolam too, the rush is quite good. but mostly heroin heroin and more Bayer heroin. ?
