If you didnt do drugs what would you spend your money on?

31 days sober, so far i have bought 1 book and a couple articles of clothing. I seriously can't even think of anything to ask my dad for my birthday coming up in a week. The past 3 years all i asked for was money, which i spent 100% of on drugs.
 
I would definitely buy a car, and I'd go to a lot more shows/parties/festivals. I really like being high at those events, though I certainly can enjoy a good show sober.
 
Well I don't have a girlfriend atm so that's one rationalization I use when I blow a hundred bucks on some pills, but I'd rather have a girlfriend that I spend money on and not use so many drugs.

I'd travel more, I'd buy more music equipment or upgrade what I have, I've always enjoyed dressing well so I'd buy more clothes and shoes. I spend a decent amount of money on these things even with a drug habit.

I'd pay off some debts more quickly.

My business is tricky, it's very up and down and I'm not good at saving money so even with no drugs I need to learn how to save money and be smarter with it to really get my financial life to work for me.
 
before i spent all the money i drugs, i saw every movie i wanted to see in theatres, i went to alot of concerts, i got tattooed all the time, i have a huge dvd collection i bought everything the day it came out, i went to nice restraunts all the time so thats probly where my money will go after i heal from this surgery and get the next 2 surgeries out of the way things will go back to that way
 
I thought about this in some depth recently...and I think I'd just have a lot more random crap in general...traveling would be/is something I'd like to save up for as well.
 
Everything in moderation! Now that I'm older and wiser, drugs are more of a luxury for me. If they fit into the finances for week then that's that.
 
Well when I was in the military I didn't spend any money on drugs, and I bought lots of stuff, but none of it really mattered and didn't improve my quality of life or anything. In general I think buying stuff is pretty pointless; as long as I have the necessities of life I would probably just save the rest for a rainy day.

As it stands I really like spending money on drugs tho.
 
Probably nothing, as I'm pretty much a tightwad when it comes to recreational spending. I prefer to save.

If I had lots of $$$, I'd probably blow it at the mall or at clubs like most of my friends do. As a kid I spent all my money on music and video games, specifically cassette tapes and SNES games. Since no one pays for music anymore, I honestly don't know how I'd spend the extra moolah. Maybe Pandora and Wii? :\
 
i have no idea what i would spend my money on. more booze, but i guess thats a drug. i probably would go to a lot of concerts and festivals but then i would have to buy drugs :)
