If you could walk in another person's shoes,....

Well I was going to say I'd walk in someone living in the third world. Although we see n hear what goes on n feel lucky we can never know what they're going through - having to walk miles to get water that isn't clean n not having feed or being in a war country. We cannot even begin to appreciate how lucky we are in out first world country with our minute problems that seem so big yet are nothing in comparison. We so often tell our childten when they waste food to "think of those starving in North Aftica" but how often do we take a minute or two sit n fully think about the things these people have to endure on a daily basid?

I thank God our evening before I go to sleep for the thinhs I have, for being born i. Such a privileged country where we don't endure natural disasters such as volcanos, earthquakes n so on.

I just wanted to see what others wrote before I wrote this as I did not wish to navigate how this thread went. Keep them coming, people, because things like this absolutely fascinate me. I love listening to people's different thoughts.

What are your thoughts on why God allows people to starve to death and have to walk miles to get water in places such as Africa? While others, such as you and I are born in places like the UK where we live a rather privileged life in comparison?

Usually, they will mutter something about God having a Plan and us mortals not being supposed to understand it.

Try asking a creationist why God put balls on the outside, sometime. (Bearing in mind that omnipotent deities should be able to make sperm work at core temperature.)

Of course, if you want to go all sophisticated-theology, you could say God has to act as though He did not exist in order not to give himself away accidentally. Bonus points for getting a christian to nod in agreement.

Exterior genitalia is all part of God's plan given only those God wants to reproduce don't get kicked in the nads 'till infertile.

I tried selling my soul to Satan once, turned out I'm dyslexic and Santa doesn't trade in mortality.

I sold my soul to my mate for £40.00 years ago, wrote a contract out. The bastard still owns it, I must purchase it back off him sometime.

I don't think Milhouse will ever stop being relevant :D

I've always liked this quote by David Attenborough...

I'd probably walk in the shoes of my worst enemy so I'd know how to really fuck them up mwahaha

Being serious they say that paedophilia is an "illness", as fucked up as it sounds I'd like to be able to go in to the head of a peado to understand and hopefully come up with a "cure" or something so that nobody else has to suffer a life feeling like worthless, dirty and wrong because they were used as a wean.

Who has enemies? Do you live in a cartoon or something?

Maybe he's thinking about David Cameron on Kim jon silly hair style or the like and not a personal enemy?

Any hoo, I totally agree about the bowling alley shoes - yuck and yuck. Same with hired ice skates.

I'd like a week in David Bowie platforms. That scare the shit out of them at the office lol x

Not everyone who was abused as a child goes on to abuse a child. Then again, not everyone who abuses a child was ever abused. It would be interesting what goes on in their minds. I've always been curious. What prompts people to take away innocence? What is that final push that says "this is okay, this satisfies my fetish"

But would you or anyone want to walk in that persons shoes? Surely not? I'm sorry Smiley91 for not understanding the seriousness of your quote.
