I might actually be the only person on here who is going to suggest a non-recreational drug. But, I may opt for Adderall + Lamotrigine.
Adderall alone definitely boosts my focus and motivation. But, it tends to cause compulsions (I've noticed) and those compulsions seem to have a habit of turning into panic attacks which then progress into manic episodes (not often, but sometimes.)
Lamotrigine alone makes me unable to focus, gives me headaches, and causes indigestion. I tend to get tired, and just feel overall uncomfortable. Sometimes it also gives me acid issues and I'll have to take Pepcid to make it stop.
However, Adderall and Lamotrigine together have a really odd synergy. The Adderall seems to negate most of the sleepy effects of lamotrigine, while the lamotrigine seems to negate most of the compulsion-inducing effects of Adderall.
The combination is nice because of the antimanic, yet still being able to function-like synergy. Only thing I don't like about it is the fact that both, together, seem to make indigestion worse...
Lamotrigine + Temazepam might also be acceptable because of the same reasons. However, lamotrigine seriously negates half, or almost most of the effects of any benzo. Which is good if you're trying to get things done (because it makes benzos a lot less sedating), but terrible if you're trying to get to sleep.
