LSD is the correct answer. If LSD was legal, not just decriminalized but outright legal and you could buy it at the store, and it was affordable in 3rd world countries, the whole world would be changed for the better fairly soon. Soooooo many people would tune in and turn on, and the legalization of the rest of the illegal drugs would soon follow.

The reason LSD is a better choice than mushrooms is because it's so easy to ingest and cheap to manufacture in bulk, comparatively.

I think legalizing LSD (again) would be a great idea, but only for theraputic purposes only.. not recreational.. In the 1950's it was used for the treatment of alcoholism, amongst other things, with amazing results.
But I think that if you could just buy it at your local convenience store, or someplace, the world would fall apart... all responsibilities would be forgotten, and nothing would get done.
