If you could have an endless supply of/only use one drug for the rest of your life...

Does this include drugs for therapeutic purposes or just hedonistic indulgence to get high? If it does include therapeutic drugs...I'd say oxymorphone or dilaudid ampoules lol...
 
I'm gonna have to be the odd one out and say alcohol. Honestly if I had to stop using every drug I could look back on life and say "I remember when I used to do drugs that shit was fun" but could live my life without them (hell I'm gonna have to reach that point one day anyway if I ever grow up and own a home and have kids I can't be running around doing dope and coke and tripping and shit). I honestly just don't think I could survive without at least being able to have a beer once in a while though. Now I may overdo it with the drinking at this age but realistically alcohol is just an accepted part of society even when you get older. If you chose pills or something that means you can't get drunk at your buddies wedding, you can't toast for new years, none of that shit.

I didn't pick oxy because I chose booze, but the only reason I ever switched to heroin in the first place was because pills are really expensive and getting harder to find. But in the unrealistic world of this thread the question asked if you could have an unlimited supply of one drug for free (so high prices and tolerances aside it doesn't matter you can always just take more) I would chose oxy over dope any day as I like the high better. I wouldn't take the blue 30s though I don't like the consistency of the powder or taste of the drip, I would LOVE to have an unlimited supply of old school OCs :)

Don't get me wrong, they both tickle me in naughty places, but if I could have an endless supply of blues for the rest of my fucking life? Hell yeah, I'm going for the blues. But since this ain't happening in this life time, I'm going to stick with dope. :D

Yup, a lot of people only use heroin for financial reasons, and if given the choice of both drugs at the same price for equal doses they would choose oxycodone. They are both in the same class of drugs and have similar effects with subtle differences, so naturally some people will prefer one or the other. The same goes for other opioids/opiates. A lot of people prefer oxymorphone over heroin, or even hydrocodone or hydromorphone over it, and only made the switch to heroin because of price and/or availability.
 
MDMA. Any other drug I like I would end up abusing. Now, considering abuse isn't an issue in this hypothetical: meth.
 
when i have trouble sleeping sometimes i picture the trunk in my room full of roxys, or like a tall wide mouthed glass jar with a big cork in it full of the finest heroin, or like an oil drum of dilaudids. (the container changes but the theme remains) i think any one of these would be fine, but in a filtered liquid form cuz cooking up all the time is tiresome and dirty. would i also be able to sell these drugs? cuz its hard to convince people to buy something in a form they are not used to. but i guess if the supply is unlimited i could let them try before they buy. but then i increase the risk of getting arrested. but would my supply be with me in jail? is it wrong that my lifes ambition is to not work ever but have a nice home and get high all the time? i hear you mumbling hedonist under your breath.
