If you can't be a good example, then be a horrible warning

Childhood is so sweet and innocent. A bandaid and a bowl of chocolate ice cream fixes everything. When I was a child, I couldn't wait to grow up, why is this?? Control?

 

When you're a child, being an adult seems like freedom. Unfortunately, kids don't really see the amount of responsibility that adults have to shoulder. It's really the kids that are (relatively) free, and the adults that are more constrained.

 

I'd love to go back to being a child and knowing what I do now about adulthood.

 

^^^ spork, i often feel the exact same way... i often feel that most adults do.

 

I'm so glad I'm not a kid again - I was way too vulnerable. Then again, my childhood wasn't the greatest.

 

mine was awesome- glitter, yet i still wanted to grow up and be a "grown-up" .... ugh
