If you can only test with one regent...

I have to admit I am old school and always lean towards the Marquis, it was the first one I ever used. :) For me I have to know amp content (very sensitive) so the Marquis is my favorite for that.
 
I think you get a much better reaction to MDxx with marquis and as amps are a more common than ket in pills it makes it the best single bottle reagent (imho)

Mandelin

codeine sulfate 5.0 μg
amphetamine HCl 10.0 μg
diamorphine HCl 20 μg
methamphetamine 150 μg
morphine 5 μg
strychnine 0.05 μg

Marquis

codeine sulfate 1 μg
mescaline sulfate 1 μg
methadone HCl 1 μg
lysergide tartrate 5 μg
methamphetamine HCl 5 μg
morphine 5 μg
amphetamine HCl 10 μg
diamorphine HCl 10 μg



Due to the range of substances that produce reaction colours, and sensitivity to commonly seen things like meth, Marquis is the superior reagent if choosing between the three common sulphuric acid containing tests. However, there are considerable advantages to using more than one reagent.
 
Thank you, I've been looking to get a straight answer and all I've gotten is "Take one with you" I'm living at school in Switzerland for the time being so I don't think it would be a good idea to have it shipped here to be safe. This is why you're a moderator <3

Don't take one with you on a plane! With all of the heightened security at airports (and liquid restrictions like we have here in the states) it's just not a smart thing to do.

"Why no, Mr. Airport Security Man, that's not sulfuric acid in that bottle, so, uh, don't open it and don't let it spill anywhere..." 8o

See where I'm going with this? :)

Also, if you are going to be there for an extended stay, remember that the lovely Dutch people believe in harm reduction, and you can get your pill(s) tested at a test center with GC/MS. They'll even tell you how many mgs of MDxx is in your pill(s). :)
