If it's not coke, what is it? / why does cocaine sometimes feel different?

I'll start by saying I've never tested my cocaine. I've gotten lots of different batches of different qualities through different plugs. I don't know how much of what it is cut with. But something I've noticed, is that most of the time it numbs me instantly. Does real cocaine numb you instantly? I'm super sensitive to stimulants so generally, I'll quickly start dripping sweat from my pits, get a little anxious, then want more like 20 mins later. I figured it couldn't be anything else. What else numbs you and gets you dripping sweat and anxious only to fiend for more in less than half an hour? Anyways, there has been twice where I came across "coke" that still numbed me, but not instantly, both times it seemed super oily or buttery. It had a yellowish tint and had a slow come up that didn't result in me dripping in sweat. Both of these times, it had a very warm Molly feeling followed by a super empathetic euphoria that felt like warmness and left smiles on mine and my friends faces, it felt very similar to ecstasy or molly, It would still be numbing but not as fast. And It'd still wear off within an hour or so. It leaves a very soft and warm glow to tactile touch. things become very soft and "squishy" like almost like with molly. I don't think it's speed because like I said, it seems to wear off within an hour more or less.

Which one is the real coke? The stuff that numbs me instantly and gets my pits dripping and me feeling anxious with my heart pounding? Or the "buttery" stuff that feels very similar to molly? I'd also like to add the the molly esque stuff doesn't have me running to the toilet to shit like with the other stuff/probably laxatives that it's cut with. I'd also like to add that the "buttery" or "oily" stuff that I've came across was years apart from two different plugs. All of this stuff was done intranasally.

There are plenty of compounds that will just numb you, for example Lidocaine. I don't know about the dripping sweat and anxious. In terms of psychoactive drugs there is a chance your coke has been cut with an amphetamine, likely meth.

You also say your molly has been numbing. In my experience molly has not done that. Your drugs may be cut. You'll need to do a test to confirm.

If the duration was only an hour I can only assume that it was cut with a lot of non psychoactive substances .

No. Molly has never been numbing. I'm saying the coke that feels like molly is numbing. I also know there are several numbing substances. Instant numbing is a bad sign, not good. Instant and strong numbing usually means benzocaine, other fast but less ‘intense’ is likely lido or some other -Caine. I’ve heard but unsure on it that procaine also numbs instant and intensely the same as benzo. But in any regard the description of the second type you describe(numbs but not instant or very strong, slowish come-up, oily texture) is spot-on for how blow SHOULD feel in regard to its numbing action and to the touch.

Nobody can ID your drugs online from pictures or a description, and I think guessing is against the sites policy. But in my own experience the first you described sounds more like a small amount of meth with tons of filler(likely inositol and benzocaine but could be literally anything, fairly certain on the benzo though) to ‘mimic’ cocaine. I’ve done tons of both drugs, and never has coke made my pits start sweating and become anxious instantly. But that hits the nail on the head for the first few times I did lines of meth. Benzo is a great cut to mask meth because of how intensely and quickly it numbs - makes it so you don’t notice that signature meth burn.

The second one, not so sure. If you’re used to doing coke that’s actually meth cut with other shit, I could see you getting the warm blanket Molly-type euphoria if it’s your first experience with real, pure-ish cocaine. I quit blow for years because of how shit and stepped on it was. Recently came across some very pure shit and even through my MA habit I could feel that amazing high of good, clean coke. But the rest of the description doesn’t really fit the bill. Could possibly be decent blow mixed with something like 4/2-mmc or some other cathinone. But if you’re in the US that doesn’t really make much sense(unless you’re paying out the ass per g) because caths are fairly rare to come by and far more expensive than blow.

Definitely don’t take any of my guessing/speculation as anything concrete, as I stated before nobody can ID what you have through any description or picture. If you really want to know what’s in your shit buy some test kits and test your drugs. Or send them in to a testing facility for analysis. Don’t think there’s many(if any) left in the US but there’s some international that accept US samples. Not sure on how much it costs to do so, my guess is it’s not too cheap but if you want to really know what you’re putting in your body I’d gamble it’s worth the cost.

I wouldn't know about cocaine numbing immediately as I'm from Aus where the coke quality is shite, so I wouldn't know what to look for in good coke. Hopefully someone else here with more experience with coke can answer your question

Real coke takes roughly 2 minutes to feel the warm euphoric rush and high. About the same amount of time for the numbness. A real coke high is extremely similar to the past peak side of ecstasy. I've been making that comparison for 30 years now. It's euphoric, smooth, extremely talkative, anti-anxiety, anti-depressed, huge clarity and extremely sexual. Bad coke is basically the exact opposite of all those things. I'm surprised you've been able to find real coke since the mid 1990s. Yeah I do consider myself lucky, especially being in Utah. I was worried that the stuff I like was meth or something because of the molly like feeling. I've done "coke" like probably 50-60 times in my life and only twice did I come across stuff that feels like what you're describing. The shitty part is one of those two times, I got 10.5 grams (3 eighths) and I sold an eighth to a close friend that his sister stole. Did an eighth with my gf and friends, and had the last eighth stolen from me. Honestly, your comment did the most harm reduction because now I know not to waste my time trying to get coke. I do consider myself lucky. And for anyone else who'd want real coke. I recommend you just do molly or ketamine, the euphoria is very similar and they're not as caustic.

It might all have been cocaine. Its certainly not the case that all cocaine are the same. there are differences depending on its origin, how they processed it, how skilled the people are making the cocaine, the quality of the lab material they used and so fort.
Ive had my fair share of cocaine in my life so i know a little bit on the matter. Cocaine is supposed to act like an local anestethic, so its always supposed to numb you when u snore it. But ofcourse its possible they cut it with something that does the same.
Ccoaine also works as a strong laxative, so if you feel a strong urge right after your first line, thats normal and a good thing. But again its possible they added something like manitol that could mimic the laxative effect cocaine has. In both cases though these dont do much else then what i just described. So if your coke is cut with either of those , depending on the ratio they used, it means your cocaine is less strong then it should be.
Then theres different types of cocaine as well. Theres crystal cocaine, which obviously has crystalized parts in it. i had a source for a while that had it. It was uncut and really awesome stuff. Lasted quite long for cocaine and didnt quickly made you super coked up in a way u dont want. The yellowish sticky cocaine was actually my favorite cocaine of all. That stuff was the bomb, made me feel the most pleasurable with the highest kick possible. but it could be a bit too much in social situations and i prefered to use it when i was making music at home alone or with 1 or 2 mates. It was def more addictive imo and i always ended up calling my dealer again when i ran out. Problem was that it kept you awake for quite a long time even when most of the effects of the cocaine are already worn off. Often ended up lying awake for hours feeling depressed and worrying about the lack of sleep i would get before my alarm clock would go off for work.

We had to meet at the train station because he was in a hurry and he literally just gotten these cocaine bars himself, carrying about half a kilo under his jacket in a full packet train station and he basically broke a tiny bit off for me right on the spot and took off. it was def a lot more then i paid for, might have been 3 gram in total. at home i couldnt resist to have 2 little lines to check if its good or not. It turned out to be so damn good that just those 2 lines had me going so hard i never made it outside anymore and i had all kinds of plans as it was new years eve. was so coked out of my mind i couldnt face any other people anymore. By the way you can pretty much taste if you have good cocaine or not. Just put a tiny bit on your tongue and see how it tastes. Good cocaine should have a very strong bitter taste. If its cut up with other shit it tastes much less bitter and more generic depending on the amount of stuff they added. Usually those added substances have little taste so you cocaine will just taste more like generic powder instead of a very strong bitter taste.
Its hard to explain it properly though. You really have to know what good cocaine tastes like first. If you ever get that yellowish sticky stuff again, just put a tiny bit on your tongue and see how that tastes. it sounds like the same stuff i used to get which was close to uncut most of the times

The colour of the gear was still white, but it didn't hit as quick, the numbing was slower and the actual high was way more like a roll although short lived like only an hour or two. It was like a cocaine MDMA hybrid. I still don't know.. I made a guess it was part crack cocaine? But who knows. Apparently that doesn't absorb that well when you snort it.. But it lasted longer than coke(but not by much), less than MDMA, me and my friends eyes were all huge unlike on regular coke where they are just a little bigger. I really want to know what we consumed.. it was fucking fire, best coke we've all done in years. 1g bag lasted a group of us all night bouncing off the walls.
