I want to try the mints, but im from CALI
Ive rolled about 5 times from june 2010 to october 2010 all spaced about 1 month apart. My tolerance is about 4 pokez to get a good roll. i am planning on waiting about 9 months before rolling at a 2 day event in los angeles. If i do take a 9 month break will it be like the first time? Has anyone had a good roll after taking a long break? and did you have to take as many pills as before the break?

4 pokes is pretty high tolerance for only having rolled 5 times. i'm in a similar boat, rolled a lot beginning of the year, but i'll be off a 6 month break in december.

i dont think it will ever be like the first time again, but if you space out your rolls you save yourself from losing the 'magic'

In my experience, and the experience of those I know well- breaks to NOT return virgin like "magic", but they do increase some magic, and your tolerance goes down (less pills).

if your trying to make it like the first time, your just chasing that high, bad idea, just take a break. look at each experience as a new one and dont always think about the first time, i look back on my past 10 rolls since last november, and my favorite ones are the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th rolls, each experience was memorable in it's own way

it will never be like your first time no matter what you do, just bc the first time everything is new and you dont know what to expect.

thanks, i guess i need to accept that nothing will be like the first time like everyone said. i really would try anything if it would help restore all the magic but whatever i might as well take every experience for what it is and have fun with it. hopefully taking this 9 month break will make it that much more worth the wait. plur -cookiEs

A 9 month break sounds like a good plan. Ive abused it and lost the magic but you should still have TONS of magic. But i guess if you quit for like 10 years and did it again it might feel like the first time :P

The best way to make yourself feel like it's your first time is to not think about your first time. Just take every roll as it comes and enjoy what you have and then you'll be okay. :)

how is your tolerance 4 pokez if youve only rolled 5 times? ive rolled 5 times as well, and i did them all in about a 3 month period, and for my last roll i still only needed 1 pill, although for my 4th roll one wasnt enough. i dont see how you could roll 5 times spaced out, and need to take more than 2 pokez.

Yeah, it kind of seems like you ruined your tolerance by taking more than you needed to. Either way, the first time is new and you (and by you, I mean everyone) are naive and inexperienced with the drug. You can't ever get that back. For me, rolling has evolved and I am now much more in control than I was when I started doing it, because I'm so familiar with the high. Those kids that are wide eyed, hugging everyone in sight, and obviously rolling some serious balls at raves... you won't ever see me like that, because it's not like that for me anymore. But that's ok. Stop thinking about losing magic, I'm sure some of it's in your head. Just take a nice break, be responsible with your rolls, and you'll be able to appreciate them for a long time, despite the fact that they will never be as "magical" as they once were. I've been rolling for 10 years, and have abused it twice, but as long as I space them out properly and use MDMA as a celebration thing, I always roll, and I always enjoy it.

It probably won't be like your first time but it'll definitely be a better high than if you did it again today or something. The longer you wait, the better it is. I heard that if you wait like two or three years, then it is more like the first time. But before you tried it for the first time, you probably had no clue what to expect and the feeling was just AMAZING ... you won't get that surprise because you know what it's like.

For the most part nothing will ever be like the first but breaks really do help. The last time I rolled was extremely fun and I practically spent the whole time walking and talking with a friend of mine.

@ Gerald92 my first roll i took 4.5 pokez, second time i took 1, third time i took 4 or 5 not sure, fourth i took 4, and my fifth time rolling i took 1 and i didnt feel like i was rolling.
this 9 month break is the best choice for me and i hope to not abuse this drug so that i dont lose the wonderful feelings. thanks everyone. plur -cookiEs

No, it won't ever be like the first time. That's because the first time is a completely new experience, something new and unexpected. However, I can't speak for anyone else, but my first time was not even close to my best roll. I have had many great nights on MDMA that were SO much better than my first one.

Take some time off, pace yourself, surround yourself with good people and good music. Don't compare each roll to your last one, it's not your last one, but it can be better if you let it be.

ya dude, if you take 4 one roll then one the next no wonder you didnt roll. and goddam, 4.5 pokez your first time? you must have rolled insanely hard, people that fucking roll every weekend would roll face off 4.5 pokez.

How would you even be able to judge if your first time was better than a new experience. You shouldn't really be able to if you take long breaks in between. It should be such an amazing experience with each break that you wouldn't know if your first time was better imo. Each experience holds new adventures and memories, maybe its because i have only ever dropped at raves so it's different for me.

In short nothing is like your first roll again - its like the first time you go on a rollercoaster etc, yes the following experiences are still fun but nothing like the first time.
