For example, say a pill has DXM *and* MDMA... would the color of the chemical turn the DXM color, or the MDMA color, or both? (Does this make sense)? I use the Dancesafe 3-Step Test.

"Something D-O-O economics? Anyone?"
MDMA would probably obscure the DXM result with Marquis and Mecke tests, but hopefully you would see enough of a "non standard" MDxx reaction to be suspicious.

Thanks for the info!
We were wondering if little differences in color (like, most of the test result is deep purple but there are specks of other colors) means that the drugs corresponding to those colors are in the pill.
I downloaded a big FAQ on all this last night, which helped a little but not much. Apparently random fillers in a pill can also lead to little specks of other colors. But our pills did the normal 2-3 seconds to black/deep blue/purple so we think they are decent.
