Stuck in my hole playing these games

Staving off my call to arms
Makes life lose all of its charms
Rolled and coiled inside my cocoon
I'm being pushed to bloom too soon
I need to get my thoughts together
So that I can really see whether
I want what you offer or if there's room to refuse
It's not about you - it's what I want to lose
The only sacrifice worth making
Is one you've not been forced into taking
When I make my decision clear
I'll make sure the world hears
That I am who I want to be
And not a victim of atrophy

I think that's all I owe to me
