Hey guys,
So basically I have access to a 600 MHz NMR spectrometer. I was wondering if it'd be easiest to just run a simple 1H proton scan on any batches of L that come my way to identify whether or not it is actually the compound advertised. I think this would be simpler than buying a test kit seeing as I'd be able to simply run a scan and have the spectra within ten minutes. It would also be possible to easily determine what the compound was if it were something other than LSD-25.
If anyone has experience with this I'd appreciate. I was thinking of dissolving say a tab in say CDCl3 to let the LSD come out from the blotter paper and then running a scan. Would other solvents be better suited such as an ethyl acetate mix or maybe DCM? Also would any of these solvents react with the LSD if I were to combine.
Any help/input is appreciated.
Thanks.
