Identifying combos in pills - The sieve technique

Here is a clever technique I tried on a pill I suspected to
contain a MDMA/Meth combo. When I first tested it with
ez-extreme, I could not tell there was Meth in it because
the MDMA reaction masks everything. However I knew that
only secondary amines were present (negative reaction on robadope,
deep blue with Simon)

The sieve technique:

Put a few drops of Marquis reagent on a white dish. Use
a fine metal sieve (from the kitchen) and gently rub the pill
on it, over the Marquis reagent. Very fine particles will fall
in the reagent. After a few particles have fallen, look carefully
at their individual reactions.

In my case, I could clearly see orange and purple reactions indicating
Meth and MDMA. If I had been a little bit more careful, I could have probably
determined the ratio between the two.

I guess this technique can be used for many other combos.

I hope this technique will help someone. Be safe and happy rolling!

Please bare in mind that you are looking for a change over time. If you look carefully, especially with marquis it can flash orange for an instant before the purple->black reaction takes place.
Be sure you are not seeing this reaction.
