Identify?

Hey there, I'm new to the forum. I registered because I have a question...
A friend of mine told me he's doing amphetamines and doesn't want to tell me more about it. The thing is that I found really hidden in his room a small bag with crystal meth (I'm pretty sure it is) but he actually snorts a white powder. The crystal is really salty and somehow acid while the powder is just bitter. None of them numb my mouth or tonge. What do you guys think? I know he's not injecting or smoking, he's actually snorting, but, what is he snorting?
Regarding prices, he's paying around 75 dollars for 10 grams more or less.
The other thing that is pretty weird is that he's snorting from one hidden place and the crystals are in another hidden place, but when he runs out of the powder, he's actually taking the crystals. I think he's crushing the crystals and mixing them with something (because of the taste). Can I upload pictures in here?

Sorry, we can't help you identify what you have. Your best bet is to get a reagent testing kit and its something that you should have if you are going to use any drugs these days as you never know what they might be.

There are so many things that your friend could have its not even funny.

There are way too many variables for any of us here to be able to figure it out. The only ways of finding out would be a) asking him what the substances are b) using tests like Magicalkat recommended to get a definitive answer on what it is.
