Ok, so we all know hash oil can be made from washing plant matter with a solvent and evaporating the solvent. But my question is, is it possible to make hash oil from bong water.
So for whatever reason i had at the time, about a week ago I started collecting really dirty bong water in a big jar, thinking I could find some use for it. the water looks like muddy river water. Its riddled with uncombusted plant matter and very murky with cannabinoid containing oils im sure.
My theory is that this can be mixed thoroughly with a solvent such as acetone, hexane, or maybe even iso alcohol. I think that the cannabinoids, being insoluble in the water and soluble in the acetone, will bind to the solvent. Then let the mixture seperate and pipette off the solvent layer. Then you have the usual solvent/ thc solution that can be evaporated.
You guys think it would work?
