BURLEY, Idaho (AP) - A southern Idaho woman growing a 4-foot tall pot plant in her front yard has been arrested and faces several felony drug charges.

A preliminary hearing in the case against 48-year-old Laurie M. Donald is scheduled next Thursday in Cassia County.

Police say an anonymous tip led them to the Donald's home on Oct. 21, when they found the marijuana plant growing in the southeastern corner of her front yard. Police obtained a warrant to
search the home and found more than a pound of pot, some methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

thats horse shit, she should have played stupid and blamed the kids in her neighborhood for throwing there pot cleanings anywhere they please
 
I'd like to state right off the bat that I am a firm believer that we should be able to do what we please with our bodies, because they are in fact OUR bodies and if we are hurting no one else but ourselves the government should have nothing to do with it.

Having said that what a STUPID BITCH! Obviously she knew the laws in her state, and fully was aware of the fact that you can't just plant Weed wherever you please, and you would think she would be a little more careful considering that wasn't the only drug in her possession. God some people are just to stupid to live!
 
Well, thank God they caught her...now the streets are safe for children....Wont someone think of the children??
Oh wait, except that when they arrest people for drug related crimes, it further overcrowds our already overcrowded prisons leaving less room for criminals like child molesters etc. So I guess it doesn't keep our streets safe after all. Hmmmm...you'd think someone would have figured this out by now.8)

Whoever sent the "anonymous tip" is a terrible person, though-- what kind of demented person snitches on others for harmless shit??

the pot isn't harmless but the meth probably had something to do with her just growing it in her front yard.
 
It probably wasn't the best idea to grow in her front yard, but to rat her out? Seriously?
 
While I agree this entire thing is complete horse shit and a waste of EVERYONES time, she should know better than to grow something thats illegal in the frontyard, no matter how assanine the law about it is.
 
How stupid do you have to be to grow an illegal plant in your front yard. That's just asking to get arested.
