(answered) "ID" thread locked?

I don't know how to describe it really, but it's not the against-the-rule kind of ID thread.

I've asked things like this before and gotten replies from moderators. There was absolutely no reason to close it. It's not even similar to an ID thread where some 15-year-old asks "hhuhuhuh is dis shit koke??"

Moderators run their forums differently, which is why you're always told to read the rules of the individual forums before posting. What may be allowed in one forum may not be allowed in another, that even applies to individual mods, you may have one generation of mods who enforce a rule a certain way and then the next generation of the same forum enforce it differently (generally these are rules that are up for interpretation to begin with, if they outright change a rule they should note it in the guidelines). You can always PM the mods if you have a valid argument for them, which I'm sure you've been told before, but its always worth a short, particularly if its a different mod.

I understand how it's not really for OD, but he shouldn't have closed it, he could have easily moved it to wherever he thought it most relevant.

Questions about drugs that aren't really HR based can be asked in the social threads of the some of the forums. If you really want to try to figure out the answer to your question then I suggest asking it in the OD social thread (stickied at the top of OD) or the BDD social thread.

I would think that it would be Dimethocaine.

I would have closed this thread had I seen it also, while it doesn't directly break the rules it lacks any HR purpose and OD is one of our HR focus forums.

The only place I could really see this belonging is Homeless. As stated asking it in the OD social would be ok but I am pretty sure it's dimethocaine you're after.
