Quite simply from the fucking local news. I've heard them refere to ice as "a new, more potent form of methamphetamine is hitting the street. It's known as ice." (don't forget the smarmy newsguy accent). Seriously. I wouldn't be surprised at all if some 3rd rate doc in some shitty ER referred to 4-mar as meth. You shouldn't be that surprised either.

Hey recovery -
Lived in Atlanta for awhile with a "tina" dealer so I know what you are talking about. Everything I have seen down there that everyone called ice is meth. Tina/Ice/Shards all refer to good meth. I think the reason my boy liked to use the term ice is because that's what good product should be. I told him he should call the brown crank that he had "shit". He didn't think that was too funny.
