Ibogaine for Addiction

Hey fellow Bluelighters.

Have any of you PERSONALLY used Ibogaine to "treat" your addiction?

I have become very interested in this substance to help out a friend with an opiate addiction, who also loves psychs, just seems like itd be RIGHT up his ally.

No but I used multiple sessions with Ketamine, DXM, and LSD to quit a heavy opiate addiction. It's a very risky maneuver, but if you are already quite used to psychedelics i think theres a good chance of it working. It all basically comes down to conditioning and reimprinting your brain to associate the opiate with something horrible, and associating your sober self with something beautiful. It is really that simple but the details can be excruciating and I think would vary from individual to individual. I suspect ibogaine works in a similar manner.
