Ibiza 2009

is there? it's usually dc10 that folk are rattling on about being closed. apparently there's rumours of it opening this year but i seriously fucking doubt it. absolutely gutted an all, coz i had even went n bought tickets for circo-loco in 2007 & was too fucked to go. ended up throwing the ticket at some cunt


edit - just read that link. bora bora is closed then? :( fuck sake. ibiza's had it. it's only gonna get fucking worse & worse with the stupid cunt government & the super club mafia shutting all the good shit down. arseholes
 
Well shit I just took a look at the article more clossely and it seems that its from '04.

Now I have seen video of people having a blast there in 08. So my mathematical calculations lead me to believe that it will be open this year ;)

haha. i thought while i was skimming through it to check the date but laziness defeated me. quite funny how its written like - thats it, bora bora is definite closed.

my mates were at bora bora last year.

dc10 apparently is gone though. it was like the only decent club that didn't rip the fucking arse out the prices

yeah that's what i heard.

Im in a little loop abotu where to stay. I already booked for Ibiza Rocks hotel because its by the west end and its got a cool atmosphere to meet people. However i hard you have to venture out of san antonio to get the real ibiza vibe.

So i was looking at the Fiesta Club Playa d'en Bossa (http://www.ibiza-hotels.com/clubplayadenbossa/) and saw that it is right by bora bora, has a nice beach and pool area, nicer rooms, etc, and is right by space.

But it looks like there is a mix of families and stuff and there ist much to do besides space and bora bora in the area. i dont wanna see families. Anybody stay at either of these spots?
 
I personally wouldn't recomend Playa Bossa, but then again i'd always go for a villa away from the towns anyway. If there is a load of you it isn't really more expensive, plus you get much better parties and stuff. Downside is taxis, but you just need to get a reliable firm of MPV's run by Brits to ferry you around.

If i had to stay in a town, i'd choose Ibiza Town.
 
Do tickets for big nights like Cream @ Amnesia sell out or can you buy them the day of? I was hoping to get some discounts by looking around town when i get there instead of paying the price online
 
Is it not pure torture being crammed into a club with 12 million other folk?

aye its drug discussion but we're not allowed to source drugs. so i couldn't tell you land in ibiza & phone wee pablo up on 0800-I-NEED-DRUGS or else i'd get a bit of a kicking from one of the mods.

the ching i had in ibiza wasn't too good. just the same as the re-press shite thats over here. plus once or twice when we bought it, it definitely wasn't ching, just some sort of crushed up pills. i wouldn't buy ching off some1 ur not gonna see again. if its dealers coming round your hotel then there's a chance of it being good but if its off some1 in the street it will be shite

I was just asking if there is a district on the island that it would be available. no specifics. Plus, drugs for personal use is tolerated on the island, much like weed is tolerated in Amsterdam.

If I asked where in Amsterdam I could go into a coffeeshop to buy weed, would this be against the rules?

I'm staying on the Playa Den Bossa part of the island from the 12th - 20th of Sep (all booked :D). I'm seeing tiesto while i'm there and so I'd really like to get some pills but my friend that i am going with says she will definately not buy it off some random, which is understandable - so generally from what I've gathered, the people that can be trusted are english or dutch and come round to your rooms and give phone numbers so they can be trusted? And I suppose you can also check on pillreports to see if they are legit, yes? I just don;t wanna be ripped off or given pipz, but its hard to be sure isn't it? Especially seeing tiesto, I really want to get some :P lol.

Also, generally how much do they cost so I can budget haha.
 
Take a tester kit with you. Buy some to test, get the dealers number and get more off him if they are good! Simples. :)
