It is amazing but i agree its VERY busy and i think over rated! Yeh to be honest these days i'd far rather a night out in the Arches in Glasgow to see Boys Noize etc.. Dance Valley in Holland or I love techno would be more my style :D :D :D

Same here. Amazing venue, that ice cannon was the coolest thing EVER when a I was a hot and sticky MDMA'd mess. But ridiculous prices for a bottle of water, people packed in like sardines, and a shitty Paul Van Dyke in the main room made what should have been the highlight of the holiday a bit of a let down tbh.
 
iv just found out that the lineup i was looking at & planning nights etc was last years haha. im a fuckin idiot. im gonna try n find some more underground parties to go to anyway. apart from cocoon, carl cox & we love space. dont really fancy paying a tenner for a wee shitty bottle of water any more than i have to

does any1 know if dc10 is definite closed this year?

Why's everyone suddenly doing Exit Festival?

The lineups don't even seem up to much.

You forgot to mention that the Serbian folk are rude cunts and absolute wankers! ;)

Not all of them obviously but fuck me they certainly try hard at it in bars, clubs, restaurants, shops etc.

oh yeah ibiza, got me a ticket there in may, cant wait to bippity bop bop boo on the dance floors with my whistle and glow sticks, MDMA baby, thats what Im talking about, MDMA and some damn hardcore house music pumpa pumpa pumpin, tootle ooo mates
 
Ibiza has lost it appeal to me. If you have been there once leave it at that. You are better off with a trip to Miami to the WMC, probably spend the same amount of money, and it will be something different and just as sunny. Sonar for Europe.

I'm from AUS going backpacking around the UK and Europe for a year. I am going to Ibiza in September this year for the first time!

I'm not really sure how it works with getting pills over there. I hear a lot of people saying be careful don't buy it from just anyone and some of them have ended up being fakes or fatal. So does anyone have any advice as what the best thing to do is? Just ask the locals for advice?

Also, does anyone know when the full line up is announced for all the clubs? I noticed only some opening parties have been announced but not all the people playing have. When do they announce the closing parties?

In general don't buy from the "lookie lookie" men, try to find an english person who is working there for the summer. They have better drugs and they are glad of the business. Last year the pills were good (even from the lookie lookie men) but this year I would stick to MDMA crystal as I doubt even Ibiza will be free from piperazine scum.

Don't be a cock with drugs. Nobody will mind as long as you're not blatantly showing them to bouncers/police. Don't carry more than a few pills each, because the police are very harsh on "dealers" while users generally get off lightly.

Check the clubs websites, sign up for newsletters. But the Ibiza edition of mixmag which comes out in April or May, I'm not sure when exactly. It has info on clubs, pubs, beaches etc and usually has a good few line ups. It also puts you in the mood for sun, beautiful women and copious amounts of drugs%)

There is already an ibiza 09 thread here so I imagine this will get merged. Have a great time, you will love it.:) I'm jealous I'm not going back!
 
depends on where ur staying but when iv been before we've had pretty decent dealers come banging on our door asking if we want tickets before shutting the door & getting the bag of drugs out =D they were all english, mainly scousers & the majority of them were sound as fuck, happy to do deals for larger amounts & one guy even went well out his way to get us a load of grass

i think we freaked them out a bit tho when they were tryna sell us 5/10 pills at a time & we were asking for prices for 100 lol
 
heya! how exciting...ibiza my fave topic...i'm going back there to work for the third year in a row so if anyone has any questions or wants any connections out there you should PM me!!
As for drugs...they have always been amazing out there and from what i hear will be pretty good next year just don't be a twat and buy them off the lucky lukcy men, there are plenty of British workers all selling...
as of last year the pink hearts were incredible, mda and mdma, was on it pretty much consistantly the three months i was out there last year and never needed to ever take more than one to be fucked all night. the blue hearts were far too strong for me, a blokes pill for sure, the ticks and stars were speedy little shits!
Zoo project is still going, you don't need to book in advace?!? just pay on the door, sickest thing ever! DC10 is apperently going to be closed :( but they said that last year too and went ahead so fingers crossed! And all i'd say is get in with some workers, there are tons of villa parties going on that tourists don't know about. Shipwrekked (boat party leaving at 7am) is a goodun too.
and to my fave night of the year, past two years, is PORTANAX which is the only legal beach party, u can't imgine how incredible it is to see 1000's of people on a beach with lazers and shit, incredible!
anyway i think i've rambeled on enough, if your coming out this year you should deffo send a message my way :)

i've only ever got bad pills once in ibiza and they werent pips just non active! last time we were there was getting pills of scoucers and they had blue lovehearts (tested in holland upto 170mg mdma) red hearts that were high mdma + speed and brown mdma crystals aswell =D coke they had was decent aswell

annoying how its just us mugs in the u.k that get all the shite eh!
 
a lot of europe seems to have experienced the same piperazine influx we have it's def not just the UK.
 
I was under the impression that it was a global thing. Are there still decent pills in America and perhaps Asia? That would make sense, pipz are illegal in USA AFAIK...
