. . . I don't know what it means.

Vanilla Skyn (Long way down) (One last thing)

On the edge in
search of that culminative
propulsion that'll send me spinning
into the void.
It's gotta come from within,
because I have searched without and
I cannot find it. And even if I did find something
it would only be the remains
or some other soul's dead
dream.
No, my dreams are in the fall, the rush,
the second of infinite length and wait
before the bottom.
The whole world opens itself to you
in that single moment of
pause before cataclysm,
or redemption?
Ah, but that's the choice and
you can't know which it is
until the void reaches for you and
you scream down the long way to the bottom,
where the Phoenix waits,
patiently,
shaking ashes from its dazzling crimson feathers.

Long way down,
one last thing before the plunge,
one last little effort
to feel my heart and its compassion that
summons faith.
Vanilla Sky like white-fire
on the cusp of universe,
scrawling out into forever.

This is a really nice poem...this is in iambic pentameter is it not?

Either way, thanks for sharing! :)
