"I wouldn't do heroin, but I'd do oxy"

I would pay $30 for an OC 80 instead of getting a dime of dope... With an OC, I know what I am getting and it will be the same everytime. With dope you dont' know what the hell is in there and you don't know how different it will be from the last time you snorted/injected it. Dont get me wrong, I love dope, but honestly... I think I would choose OC over it anyday... even though Heroin is cheaper..
 
Can we please get back on topic? Let's stop bickering about prices. It's gonna be different everywhere. I've had oxycontin prescribed to me and I didn't pay anything for it (totally covered by my insurance); I GAVE some of the pills away.

Anyway, point is we have no way of knowing whether people are bullshitting or not.

So yeah, back to the topic at hand. :)
 
I was always under the impression that pure Heroin was very expensive. WE shouldn't even be comparing street drugs to pharmaceuticals. Illicit Heroin, yes, but not straight up street smack.
 
Yes, but $10 isn't enough for me to stick a needle in my arm and shoot a mixture of 70% cuts and 30% heroin, bypassing my immune system. You have to think about your health too. I like feeling good more than anything, but I'm not sticking a needle in my arm when using street drugs, maybe sterile pharm. grade diacetylmorphine, but most people would do a lot of stuff if they KNEW it was 100% pure.

IN my experience street drugs are far superior to pharms. @ least the drugs I am concerned with. I like the overall high off heroin much greater than the high off of most pharms. (there not all there cracked up to be).

Kitty, out of interest, what does one get prescribed it for? I have no idea, other than I'm guessing some sort of ongoing intense pain?

Neither is Heroin IMO...

and it is a hopeless argument because it's all a matter of opinions..

Supposedly Baltimore had the best shit... I'm from Baltimore.. and I dont think H is all it's cracked up to be.

Baltimore is popular with its dope game (heroin) when they did the HBO special titled something of the sorts: "Heroin in the Suburbs, Oh no what will we do Honey...?). Boom, popularized, boom, all of a sudden 'insert city' has the best dope.

I wasnt to impressed w/ east coast dope I've tried. It took me a 2 week transition period from switching from chicago dope onto NYC dope, slightly different, not the length of the high like the chi.
 
I had it prescribed for endometriosis, basically a fucked up uterus and chronic pelvic pain. I hated the stuff though (not an oxy fan). Now if only the prescribed heroin....;)

I prefer Oxys to H......but only because my Oxy sources are more reliable and easier to hook up with than my H sources. If I had a good H source who was always well stocked and available at all reasonable hours, then I'd be leaning more towards that. When I can get a 80 mg. Oxy in 20 minutes but it takes me 1-2 hours to get a 20 bag, well, you see what I mean.

About Baltimore H......I've picked up some good bags in Charm City, but then again I've picked up good bags in a lot of cities. I think it's a stretch to make a generalization like that.

That's about $1000-$1400 aus$.How do sick people without insurance afford this??
A script of 25*80mg oxy's costs me $4 at the moment because i'm unemployed,when i work it goes up to about $40.

Anyway i prefer H over Oxy.
The only benefits i can see to Oxy is a distinct lack of nausea as opposed to H and the ability to accurately estimate your dose.

They can't. And even our medicaid system has tightened up on it's coverage of controlled substances.

They wind up having to ask the pharmacist to sell them a portion of their meds, however much they can afford. Interestingly enough, some pharmacies are now refusing to do this, refusing to take cash for these prescriptions.

People with "real insurance" are very limited in their choice of doctors and very lucky if they happen to find one who will prescribe a C-II med at any dosage, which includes a lot of painkillers similar OC but much cheaper because they are available in generic.

Even with insurance coverage, mine for instance, there is a 1500 USD per year limit. So even if I were lucky enough to be prescribed a decent pain med like oxy, I would only be able to afford it for two months (Actuallly, right now, I have 500 USD left on my script coverage, so it would be more like 2 weeks of meds).
 
I get unlimited meds at $5 per bottle, generic or name brand, on my plan. It's pretty cool I guess. As for dying of cuts, I don't care about dying it's just the fact of shooting some shit like baking soda or whatever straight into my blood. There's no telling how unhealthy it is, let along dirty, even if it isn't deadly.
 
The only reason I like OC's better is because it seems to be much more common around where I live (or atleast offered to me more). Plus, it's extremely cheap compared to most places. At most $15 for an 80 mg. OC, sometimes even $10. And of course, because of the other reasons already mentioned.

i dont even need OCs, if i could get percs for that price, id be a happy young man
 
There is no way a smaller city like Baltimore is the dope capital of the US.
 
Baltimore isn't exactly "small" last time I checked, well except when compared to like NY and LA. As for Percs, they have APAP ins them or something, plus 1 80mg Oxy is 8 of those Percocets, but straight Oxycodon...
