I am thinking about requesting that I get non-generic Klonopin from my doctor. Does this look suspicious? I was recently switching from 4X 0.5 alprazolam a day to 1 and 1/2X the 1.0 mg Clonazepam a day. so from 2 mg of xanax a day to 1.5 mg a Klonopin a day. I find that the klonopin works a little better than the xanax even at a slightly lower dose, I notice the half life is much longer so I have much less panic attacks, my general anxiety is still pretty bad though and I don't really trust the generic brands, I only liked the greenstone brand with my alprazolam and thats because it was a division of pfizer the actual manufacturer of xanax. Now with the Clonzaepam I've tried the Mylan brand and the Teva brand, they both seem to work about the same, and they seem to be the only brands around that I can get filled, in the past i've had the activist and the qualitest brands, neither of which seem to work much better. I would really like to try the Actual Klonopin, I have insurance so cost shouldn't be an isssue. My Psych. seems to be conservative with the benzo prescribing and I don't want to raise any red flags, I've asked for an increased dose and he is very stubborn and will not do it for me so My question is will me asking for non- generic make me look like a drug seeker and possibly cause him to think I am abusing? What is the best way to go about asking for non gerneric Klonopin? I've seen pictures on the internet, they look pretty cool, and most reviews says they work quite a bit better. Thanks!
