I'm so happy to finally be a member of Blue Light! Over the years this forum has been invaluable to me..Whenever I have had problems with withdrawal from any number of substances (Right now I'm withdrawing from Lyrica - it'HELL.),, The wisdom and experience of the members here has pulled me through.

Thanks for the post. I joined in hope of finding a better way to fight pain. Lyrica was a possibility. Apparently, it has withdrawal side affects like all the other pain meds. I am losing hope rather than gaining more since reading posts on the chronic pain forum. Are the withdrawal symptoms from lyrica similar to narcotics? Is lyrica a narcotic? Does anybody know why so many people around the world are suffering so? If so, I would like to chat as I have some insight.

chronic pain

High Herbiei428.,cc; Lyrica is an unusual drug. It's not a narcotic; I'm not sure how it's classified. A lot of people report great pain relief for fybromyalgia and nerve pain. Withdrawal problems vary; some people report no problems discontinuing it; others have terrible withdrawals. A knowledgable (misspelled!) doctor is so important. Can I ask what type of pain you have? I feel your situation is similar to mine.. I have struggled with this issue for years.
