i am endurance embodied
and you are not worth my tears
my emotions run deeper and

in your small little world
so i commend you
your tact is stunning
but your retreat will always
remain
you can beat me down
throw me away
burn a hole in my
flesh for every
tear shed
every laugh you will never hear
and i will still endure.
thru all the hardships
all the bullshit i
have had thrust upon me
swallowing my own sorrow
i remain
and you
disappear
over and over again
never to be seen in the light
a creature of annoyance
a brilliantly planned
overly contrived
mess.

and a hell of a lot less.

to try and break me down
and you can sit back and watch
