taking the time to really understand who i am
lost quiet moments when you think i have no clue in the world
what is going on, or maybe just nothing to say
you were wrong

I admitts I dont express myself freely with you,
Actually don't with alot of people
I just refuse to let them in

I hear you words you try and relate but sadly
you just don't get it

I don't find it worth bothering with
I can't find the words to tell you what i am thinking
I don't really care to bother with anything these days

I suppose to inspire you I am sorry
I am suppose to envy you I can't
I am suppose to care,,, I don't

So don't mind me if I pass on this
Tell you I am just not interested
At least you are getting more honesty
then I afford most people these days

So let me walk away quietly

i read this about 5 times last night, and i've read it a few more today. to me the most powerful and haunting stanzas of this poem are the first and last.
