Bupe I was prescribed Oxy IR's 10mg twice a day while on bupe...does that make sense?

I have a very painful problem right now, in a really embarrassing area, it's a pilonidal sinus, basically a pilonidal cyst (something about 5% of people have naturally) that has become infected and bursted with pus. It was disgusting as all hell, as it right at the beginning of your ass crack, thankfully nowhere near the butthole, but still makes everything painful, even sitting jobs like I have are difficult to impossible to do.

I've been scripted Oxy IR's 10mg twice a day and 24 of them, will they do anything, I'm at 12mg of bupe a day, will I need to not take bupe? take less bupe? or will I fall into withdrawal (not precipitated, I know how it works). I want them to do something because goddamn this hurts, almost like a knife in my tailbone now, all pus is gone after a couple day of taking the antibiotic I've been scripted (a massive dose too, didn't know Clavulin (amoxicillin/clavulinic acid) 875/125 existed. I'm washing the area like crazy too, but haven't touched the oxys yet. My sub doctor authorized it so all is fine, btw.

That is weird, so the prescribing doctor knew you were on subs? I would say definitely wait to hear from a moderator or professional before taking the oxys 12mg is a lot of bupe and it would be wasteful if the oxys don't do anything. Personally I don't think it will make you sick but if they will be effective is another question, maybe they just assumed you were going to pause on the subs?? weird

I've taken just 4mg of bupe and 30mg of Oxy IR's and I don't feel particularly high but I do feel different, I think bupe and oxycodone play on the kappa receptor in opposite directions (one's an agonist, one's an antagonist, I forget which, most likely bupe is a kappa antagonist). I've talked to a few pill popping junkie friends (who do not or have never IV'd, one has IM'd codeine when he extracted pure codeine from codeine contins 200mg...you make special friends when taking a 3 year course to become a Chemistry Technician (a step under engineering, some engineering knowledge though) hehe, it was a while ago but I still talk to them through Pidgin using facebook XMPP off-the-record (encrypted) chatting) and both tell me that using hydroxyzine or promethazine pills will make them kick in and get through bupe. I would not be surprised, what sucks is that my hydroxyzine script is gone before it should 8) (I use it to use less benzos, works strangely enough, but they go faster than they should). Now would be time to go buy some OTC Histantil (OTC promethazine 50mg pills), obviously I'll go to a different pharmacy than the one where I get everything, but one where I have a file...I don't know if it's like that in the U.S. or other commonwealth countries but here if you use a pharmacy that you didn't use in the past, they'll try to have you say what's your usual pharmacy so they can call them to have their authorization unless you say that you do not take any prescriptions then they might sell something OTC to you, but its really great to be able to buy 50mg promethazine pills OTC since 10 is the same price as 30, it goes by 30 increments.

Alright, at 70mg in total taken over 6 hours I'm definitely nodding here. Only had 4mg of bupe and don't feel like taking the rest of my normal daily dosage, I am in a weird headspace to be sure but when I verified what 12mg of bupe equals in oxycodone, I'm not playing with fire lol, I'm gonna keep the rest of what I got and maybe one day when I get off bupe I'll have something useful in case I hurt myself, the line I've drawn between me and opioids.
