I know a few people who do pills on a semi-regular basis, and i have wanted to try them for a very long time. I have had methylone, butylone and mephedrone, would these prepare me? Also, i loved methylone, apart from about 40 mins in i had a weird kind of depressed feeling, like i felt empty. but it only lasted about 10 mins. on the other hand, i HATED mephedrone. a lot. how does mdma compare to these? are there mdma fans who had a mega bad time on meph too?

Of the drugs you've done, methylone is the most comparable to MDMA. Imagine that with a stronger urge to talk and empathise with others and a magically euphoric feeling.

Should you? MDMA does have neurotoxicity issues that you should be aware of before taking it. Those who abuse it will increase the risk for this and MDMA has an addiction rate of 43% (http://www.drugabuse.gov/infofacts/ecstasy.html). I've been addicted to MDMA and I can tell you that, from my view, it was 100% worth it and I'd choose the same path every time had I been given the chance to start again.

Yes they would have prepared you for the feelings of MDMA. MDMA is unique :)

Theres only one way to find out if you like it !

And yes I know lots of MDMA fans who didnt/dont like Meph. Best advice I can give you though is make sure what you take is MDMA and not some piperazine BS.

If you've tried those, definately do some mdma haha..
You will have a good time for sure.. Although it's smart to get a test kit and read up on a lot of stuff relating to mdma. Bunk pills suck balls and won't give you a good first experience so its good to know what youre taking..

Have fun and stay safe.

cheers guys. as for the toxicity, i was only planning on doing them once, a few times at the most. bizarrely im on the road to completely not taking drugs, and have been sober completely a good few months. I just have always wanted to try mdma, and feel like i would regret not doing it... how is it on the heart? will i have bad palps or anything? (the main reason i hated meph). if i do it'll be in the next few months so i will post a report if i do lol

EDIT: also the people i know who take them pretty much always test, i will make sure i do.

You're asking the MDMA fanclub if you should try MDMA here- I think you're just looking for permission ;) MDMA was my first drug, and remains the only one I feel I've benefitted from and still do. I highly recommend authentic MDMA so long as you wait a minimum of 4 weeks between sessions....please report back once you do! :)

MDMA is a drug that I can't imagine not doing and I'd even go as far as to say I think everyone should try it once in their lives. I think there's a lot to be learned from that kind of headspace about what exactly is wrong with the world and the human race as it is. It never ceases to appall me that a drug that makes you love everyone and everything and care about others is actually illegal, but a drug that causes you to act like an animal can be bought at the nearest convenience store.

I'd say go for it man! you're gonna really enjoy it.

As long as you're doing clean MDMA, try checking pillreports.com since you don't have a test kit I'm aussming since you've never even done MDAM. lol

I don't regret ever taking MDMA, I actually think it was one of my better decisions. haha

I would say no. Wait as long as you can before you try mdma. Wait until you have some massive question in your life that needs resolution and you really need the help and empathy that this drug can help you realize is always within your grasp. Don't throw away the power of mdma just seeking thrills.

Very good point. I kind of feel like MDMA is a waste on those just trying to "party and get high"...it's much deeper and more useful than that.

try it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you respect it and dont abuse it, then it should really be a great experience. but take it for the right reasons, not just to get fucked up. everyone should try mdma once in their lives i think, but its not for everyone.

Encouraging people to try new drugs is not in the nature of harm reduction, but I will say that you would probably enjoy it....there is nothing scary or anxiety producing about it if its the right dosage and pure.

Lots of stuff sold as MDMA or used to cut MDMA....You cant be 100% sure its pure, even if its powder in a capsule.

like aylav said, i think mdma is a drug that everyone should try at least once! although i don't do it anymore, x helped pulled me out of a life-long FUNK and helped cure my social anxiety. really it gave me the courage to just go up and talk to people, something that carried over into sober life :) like i said... everyone should try it at least once... there's nothing else like it!

i forgot to say, make sure you're with good people you can trust for your first time, and i'd recommend doing a little research so you can roll safely.

mdma made me realize what's important in life and i had some of the best times of my life. but its pretty addictive

Eh to tell you the truth, No. You smoke weed? prolly do, well your weed highs are gonna take a different road and thats a negative aspect to it. Mdma has very strong neurotoxic issues, and at the end of the day the beautiful life lessons and new insights you gain from mdma really just turn out to be the firing of your neurotransmitters talking for you. Once you come off sure you may have some after glow but eventually it'll leave and you will be in a more negative mind set than you were. People often talk about all these things they gained from mdma and so on, but honestly i think their are more negatives to the drug. Note that I am not just talking for abusers, i was a moderate user and i think mdma def. caused more damage than good. In all honesty though, it is an amazing fucking experience and shows you a new form of happiness and bliss. If you can handle just having 1 mdma experience i think it can be beneficial, but the fact of the matter is most people want that blissful feeling again come another month or something and decide to drop and go on that monthly plan which eventually catches up to you.

wow, someone's bitter... it's really a matter of respecting the drug. i agree with you on the "beautiful life lessons" and "new insights" but what can be revealed to you on mdma will carry over into sober life somehow. use it, don't abuse it. i personally abused it but i still think that it's something everyone should try once.

haha, maybe i was just asking permission lol. i definitely do want to do it, and tbh i was hoping to do it with some really close friends at a small house party or something, really try and get something out of it. i dont think i would try it clubbing tbh, i never seem to have a great night in clubs im much more of a quiet pub drink with really good mates kind of a guy. as for weed f1n1shed, i used to smoke weed but i fell out with it. had many good times but it got to the point where it just wasnt productive. itd be like, hey lets get high and id think ok, good plan. but then after the joint id just be sat there, no one would be talking or doing anything and it got to the point where i was just like this isnt a good time anymore. well i think my mind is made up, im going to do it. got one more exam left at uni next week so itll be after that. cheers for the replies!! i will report back in a few weeks (hopefully) and let you know how it went
