I want to illustrate Children's book on psychedelics for college

..this isnt intended for actual children, but to amuse you psychonaught, it is meant to be humorous and ironic as many people go into a child like state of mind when on certain psychedelics or feel a sense of nosalgia about event and emotions from childhood.

i guess i wanted your imput on what kinds of stories and written poetry and prose i could put in it? its got to read like a childrens book of some type. i prefer the AA milmn or dr Seus styles

i was thinking about something along the lines of and ABC book:

"A is for Acid, goes deep in your mind, take just a drop and see what you find"

"B is for Benelyn, brought at the store, take a whole bottle and then hit the floor"

"C is for Cannabis, used to get high, taller then skyscrapers up into the sky."

"D - d - Dimethly Tryptamine, of all psychedelics this is the queen. will take in, it will take you far, you will end up close by Jupiter"

im sure you guys can think of some awesome stuff
 
Sounds interesting.

I'd stick away from brand names like Benelyn though, because I have no clue what at all it is. Other than it'll make me hit the floor.

For B you could do Benzos, Bennies...


Just curious though, what's your intended audience? You might want to think about sprucing up the descriptions to in the end be legitimately helpful. That way it can be humorous, and work towards harm reduction. I mean your description of DMT makes sense kinda, but only if you already know what DMT is.
 
i was thinking of benzos for b but its not a psychedelic

unless i used it to show how to come of psychedelics

b was a hard one, as there are not many b psychedelics except bromo dragonfly, benelyn was a second choice to illustrate DXM in the UK

i guess its for the people who are into psychedelics, rather then children, but should be educational in an obvious way just like a childrens book

maybe it doesnt have to rhym but show a character come into contact with all these different psychs and how he reacts to them

Big Chief for mescaline or Blue Star for a brand of blotter are the obvious "Bs" on the list. Or just call it blotter. You could change "A" to aMT, though I suppose you want the first letter to be something more familiar. I like the idea of rhyming Big Chief with mischief if you want to mix up your schemes. Or how about using "bufo alvarius," and talking about smoking the skin of dead toads to achieve 5-MeO-DMT-mediated ego death (work with the dead toad/ego death/ toad kill/road kill "death" theme)? That's a fun one for illustration and word play. Best of luck in your twisted endeavors!

this is what i got

A is for Acid, AMT, Aminta and ayhauasca,:
for over a day in your mind,
they take you on a ride.
Heed the warnings this is not for no junkie, the feelings the give are more than just "funky"

b is for "Big Chief", but not from a tribe, found in some cacti, and don't ask me why.
When you take an extraction of Big Chief,
your sure to end up with some trippy ass mischief....lol

B is for bong, to aid your discoveries,
smoke with any herb, and aid your recoveries

Benzos which after will cease all the weirdness,
...just be aware it wont make you fearless

C is for Cacti, and cannabis too, even the Caapi vine, found in Ayahusca Brew
They are all natural, grown from the earth
connected to nature and growth and rebirth

D is for Dexter or DXM, a Dissociative drug found in cough medicine.
Buy a few bottles found at the store, gulp them too quickly and you might hit the floor

DMT is also a D, found in your brain and plants you can see.
its even there when you dream.
Of all psychedelics, this the queen, its shows you visions not possible seen.

E is for ergot a fungus on rye,
its used to make acid,
casting reality in a floresent dye

E is also Ecstacy, not a pychedelic, but i'll just let it be,
cos it just makes you dance so with that i agree.

F F,there are not many psychs that begin with f...

but the best is 'FUCKED UP' cos your burnt out...
too many trips in too little time...
i guess i better get on with the next coming rhyme

G i guess is GHB, its not trippy, yet could aid recovery.
A drug for parties, and even for rapers,
combine it with too much booze, you'll end up in the papers.
GBL is not far behind - its industrial cleaner which sounds divine.

O is for Opiates, that may take you too soon.

P, p oh PCP –

Prejudicial, notorious and feared generally.

S is for Salvia, a divine sage,
domesticated by man since the stone age.

T are for Toads called Bufo Alvarius
containing Bufotenin, and just hear me through this:
a venom in their skin and glands
can take you deep to other worldly lands

Understanding all these hulluciongens is hard:
especially if you take them off guard!

Varous times its clear to see
A tripper distraught due to setting quality

When found a perfect place to trip
Go find a friend with which to share it

eXcitement or panic, its all down to you
just be careful and conscious and know what to do.

You may find the answer to the mysteries of reality
Or even end up with a case of insanity

Z is for Zopiclone, to put you to sleep
It’s the end of the book, now please don’t weep
the hullucinations from Ambien’s beat counting sheep

I'd use:

Bufotenin
Ibogaine

:)
Both have a story to tell..

With 'use' I mean for your little book, lol! ;)
