why not just take that pic to a salon and tell them "i want to look like this"?

my hair is generally short and unadventurous but i've showed a barber a picture to get a cut.

Because I don't want a hairdresser to do it.
But after watching haircut videos for about 2 hours I finally found the one I followed a year or so ago which shows how to cut layers yourself the right way.
Not the ponytail thing.
