so ...
do I invest 4 years studying at uni, a lot of which is very intellectual/not that interesting for me (i'm very creative and can't really stand doing work that I'm not passionate about)
or do I just continue to learn to climb trees (am currently being taught by a professional arborist) and take photo's and see where this leads me ~
basically i really want to eventually go to schools and do creative/fun days about ecology and ways we can reconnect with nature ~ and hopefully plant the seeds of change in the young ones... with vegie gardens, ect,ect...
but before this I have strong passion to explore the rainforest canopy and incorporate this world into the eco-literacy program ...
if u have the time .. check this video out nalini_nadkani_on_conserving_the_canopy
the second half is really interesting... ways she has gone to schools and even prisons and used music and creativity to raise awareness/educate the need to conserve rainforests and get intouch with the natural world.. now more then ever...
I'm really not that keen on uni but it may be a pathway up the trees... but then again I feel if i have the climbing skills, i have good botany knowledge and adequate photography skills/equipment, then i could just volunteer for someone who has done the real indepth study
so, thoughts?
