just once to see what its like. i've done h twice but i blew it both times. first time was amazing, second time was a little less amazing. i know that banging h will take my first experience with the drug and multiply it by 10.

im not doing it cause i wanna go back to where i was when i first did h, but because i wanna experience it. if i do it only once.. wheres the harm?
 
Wheres the harm? Well I've been a hardcore opi addict for about 4 years now. I've done everything fucked up, and then some, to get my fix.

Despite every single fucking awful thing i've done to get drugs into my body, I still do not inject. Why? Because the "harm" is in becoming addicted to the needle just as badly as the drug. The "harm" is having something, already with such a powerful pull on people, and giving it even more pull and ability to suck them in. The harm, is that if you would have escaped addiction by not using the needle, you're jumping head first in as soon as you try it out.

Wheres the harm? Theres a lot of harm. The mental pull to get high is so strong already....the last time I slipped up, I got some dope and sat there with a needle in one hand, a qtip in the other, my hands shaking uncontrollably....

If its impossible for people such as myself to escape the addiction without even injecting, think of how much worse you're stacking the deck against yourself...

Wheres the harm? Written all over the wall.

sorry to hear that but i dont have an addictive personality at all and it sounds like you do, so i'd rather not take any advice from you. i would never let myself get ADDICTED to shooting heroin. i enjoy experiences in life, and from what i hear this is the greatest experience.

Unfortunately, we all start of saying that we aren't going to get addicted, and we believe it. We say we won't let it get that far, and we do. You will rationalize getting high and lie to yourself expertly.

If only you knew how naive you are. "I would never let my seklf get addicted to shooting heroin" Yeah mmmmkay. Those are the famous last words.

Beleive it or not we didn't aspire to be drug addicts.. every one of us out there said those same words. What makes you any different? It's almost laughable. What exactly are you expecting to get here...our approval?

Notice all the testimonials flowing in from people who successfully do what you are proposing?

\THis is from another post you made.. something tells me you have more of an addictive personality than you think. You like the way oxy feels so much you are think ing about injecting your self with heroin. You are taking a drug to mask the withdrawals from another drug.. Shit sounds pretty damn messy. I wouldn't inject dope if I were you.. beceause give it a few months and your post history will consist of "help me hit a vein" to "Detoxing off heroin" to "hopelessly addicted sucking dick for a bag."

Once you begin IV'ing, expect your cravings and thoughts about drugs to be multiplied 1000x. You will chase that high before anything else in life. It could be the end of you.
 
Look at the IV Mega Thread in Other Drugs. There's tons of potential harm in IV heroin use.

I have had friends, whom after not even doing 0.01% of the shots I've done in my lifetime, have 1) overdosed and died, 2) hit an artery and I watched their fingers swell up, 3) get addicted instantly.
 
You don't have to have an "addictive personality" whatever the fuck that is. It's fucking heroin.
 
Cptain Heroin has a great point. Seriously..being inexperienced and IVing is very dangerous especially if you don't have someone there to watch/show you what to do. #1 you can OD, and not have anyone there to call 911 and revive you.. you will just be rotting until someone notices you. #2 not knowing how to IV, you could easily make a mistake and end up losing your arm hand or leg for it.. all to try and get some heroin in your veins. #3 You feel the rush and euphoric high and decide "hey I might as well do 1 more shot..falling into a never ending cycle."

I mean get real bro.. you have sniffed heroin twice and already want to stick a piece of metal into your vein and inject the substance into your body. But na..you don't have an addictive personality. Not at all.
 
It is unbelievable how this is coming from the guy who thought taking more roxicodone would prove he was not addicted.

You think you don't have an addictive personality? I didn't read more than the first few posts kid but let me tell you somethings your eyes are too blind to see. 1) you have an addictive personality 2) you KNOW you should not do this, because you haven't done it yet and came on here so we would all tell you not to do it. 3) Most IV drugs will lead to addiction, regardless of "addictive personality".

If you ask me, this whole "I don't have an addictive personality" are some famous last words as well.

Let me tell you IV heroin is not the "best feeling in the world". People shoot up H and spend the rest of their lives trying to feel that first hit again, and they (may argue otherwise but most likely) never will feel that way again.

Wouldn't you rather find something else that is "the best feeling in the world"? something that won't take your life, liberty, or happiness in exchange?
 
Considering how miserable heroin can make your life, the feeling you get from the drug isn't even that good.

My man MS is right on here. I hate to be preachy, but...

The thing about opiates, especially I.V opiates, is that once you do them, you're cursed for the rest of your life, to know a pleasure that is so great, that nothing else can really compare to it. You might be able to find peace and happiness, but you'll always in the back of your head remember the feeling of heroin, and it haunts you-believe it man.

It's the fruit of knowledge. Eat it and you might feel like your in paradise, but its going to bring you to hell if you mess around long enough.

Your thinking is backwards homie. You WANT to take advice about drug use from people who have been down the block more than just a couple times. The people that have been at it for a while have seen some shit, have done some shit, and have lived through some shit. Those are the people you want to listen to.

It's not like it becomes a completely different drug when IV'd. You get a rush and quicker onset, and the BA is higher. I have used both ways and prefer to snort it. The IV BA is about twice that of snorting it, so multiply it by 2, not 10. Then there's the higher chance of overdose, possible IV complications, and then justifying IVing in the future by saying you get 2x the high that way, thus being able to use half the dose you would if you were sniffing it.

You say you have done heroin twice, but it seems like you use oxycodone often, so you have an opiate tolerance which is likely why you didn't like heroin as much as you anticipated. That doesn't mean that you should go straight to IVing after snorting it twice though. Just increase the dose you sniff and you will get the desired effects. No need to jump to the needle.
