Misc I.V. Diphenhydramine - What Do Ya Know !?!

So... from some research Ive been doing on the good ol 'web, it sounds like some people claim they you can possibably get a definite 'rush' from shooting ( IV ) Diphenhydramine.

That right there really intrigued me.. Im curious as to if this is indeed true?? Is thee anyone here with experience doing so? .. or am I going to be a guanine pig here 8)

I am very temped to just give it a try as I have ALL the necessary equipment to sterileize and make an IV-safe solution (alotta alcohol to sterize all mixing dishes, ect., syringe filters, multiple fresh syringes of all types, alcohol swabs,ner=verused unsealed bacterostat water to ue for injetion you name it... ect.ect....)from a any sort of pill/ solution/ ext. you name it.



Please some **QUICK** replies would be very much gratefully appreciated, as its sunday, Im bored outa my mnd have nothing else to do.. you know how that can be 8(

From my understanding, people use it to potentiate opioid rushes. By its self? I'd rather be bored then possibly suffer delirium.
 
Antihistamines do provide some kind of rush when injected but it's not worth the trouble. I know promethazine for example can cause tissue necrosis if adminstered improperly IV. I do not know about diphenhydramine but I'd say just don't bother.
 
Lots of centrally active drugs will seem to give you a rush when you inject them, that doesn't mean you should, though (lidocaine, epinephrine, etc... these can kill or harm you if you IV them, but they'll make your hair stand on end...). Generally they won't leave you feeling very nice. Diphenhydramine is used IV/IM in emergency medicine when you need a really fast acting antihistamine to knock down allergic reactions and the like, but I can't imagine it would feel very nice. Probably like being clobbered over the head.

There's an Erowid experience which seems pretty damn unpleasant. The side effects of diphenhydramine are much more apparent when you IV it, apparently. So don't even bother.

Go read a book if you're bored. Injecting random drugs to see what they do is not smart nor safe.

My wife had IV diphenhydramine for an allergic reaction and it cause all symptoms to go away almost instantly. Within a minute she was completely hive free.
 
I imagine if you're having an allergy attack it's pretty miraculous stuff, otherwise I wouldn't bother with it recreationally. DPH is a garbage drug anyway, it's only really useful as a sleeping medication and antihistamine.
 
What about if one were to mix it in their shout w/ bupe, then would you call it a useless drug, Sekio?

Iv'e heard great experiences from that.
 
I had IV Diphenhydramine at hospital when I OD'd on Fentanyl and Codeine. Didn't feel a thing - though wasn't expecting to. Just had it to help with the itching.

Cyclizine on the other hand sent me loopy when IV'd, had it in tablet form many a time, but IV was quite a rush. Sounds quite bizarre but when I was having oral Morphine in hospital for kidney stones, after I said I felt sick they gave me IV Cyclizine and it just sent me bloody loopy. Rarely felt sick from Morphine but after that I always insisted on IV Cyclizine before the morphine.

Bizarre and a bit weird, but there we go! Guess that's what makes everyone so different! :)
 
I'll be the first person to actually say, I've tried this at home. By itself, and mixed with buprenorphine. Both attempts felt no rush :(

Not only that, but I used diphenhydramine gel-caps and just squeezed the gel out, mixed with water, shot that up.

Ya people can say I'm retarded, but I don't do anything where I won't at least think I know the result, so far nothing bad has ever happened (besides hitting in artery with a VERY strong shot of methamphetamine one time...)!
 
Cyclizine alone was abused by junkies in the UK in the 17s-80s and I know that the US equivlent, Tripelennamine was injected without opioid. Both these compounds will convince redosing in animal models but I don't think the hold was so strong (they won't starve or run over an electrified floor-plate for the pleasure).

I have also wondered why... human's being, I suggest.
 
Get a hobby, play sports, find something productive to do to Distract yourself when you are fiending so you dont end up hurting yourself from something stupid like this!

Just sayin..
