You could have died with your recklessness. For your first time, you took 6mg of xanax + alcohol. Looks like we've got an Einstein on our hands... (JK OP, everybody has to start somewhere, just prepare yourself for a bit of my wrath)
Show the drugs the respect they deserve and they won't put you in your place. Be glad your not six feet deep man, you cannot mix CNS depressants without having any knowledge about how to do so, let alone your FIRST TIME taking an obscene amount of xanax. What the hell were you expecting, why would you take so much your first time? It's not like you have ANY tolerance. They start people on 0.25mg, and you took twenty four times this dose. It's a miracle you remember anything at all.
I'm sorry for being rude or short with you, it's just really fucking stupid for people to risk their lives like this, and then come on and post about it online AFTER the fact, wondering what could have POSSIBLY happened to them, when 30, no... 10.... NO.... FIVE minutes of research and Googling could have told you not to mix benzodiazepines with alcohol under any circumstances. You can't create threads asking for help determining what went wrong if you die in your sleep. For this reason, it's protocol to ASK QUESTIONS FIRST, so that if you are about to try something dangerous (like you did) we actually can help you and teach you about the substances you intended to work with (like we would have, like we do EVERY DAY), but no, I'm sorry, it may not be fair to you for me to get so upset when people write these bullshit threads where the OP is like "I JUST TOOK THREE XANAX BARS GUYS!!! OH, AND ALSO 40mg METHADONE I HAVE NEVER DONE AN OPIATE BEFORE, SO I HAVE NO TOLERANCE, WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?"
In threads like this, I have no choice but to close them, and say "SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION OR YOU MAY OVERDOSE AND DIE" because they gave us absolutely no chance to educate them about the substances they put into their own bodies, something they should already be doing on their own. Anyways, please forgive my rant, and do us all a favor and in the future, don't be such a fucking idiot.
Ask questions first, it's really unfair to all of us to be put in a position where we feel helpless because we were given to opportunity to help, some posters who must be extra impulsive in real life by nature must be the type of people who think that there is something we can do, AFTER THE FACT, but that's not the case. Bluelight is NOT an emergency service. Again, I apologize for being harsh, but I mean when you've seen the things I have, like dealt with this type of situation as much as we have, you'll understand my frustration.
I'm very glad that you woke up. If you haven't learned your lesson by now, DON'T MIX CNS DEPRESSANTS. Alprazolam is an EXTREMELY potent CNS depressant and so is alcohol, combined the results are unpredictable and can result in death via fatal respiratory depression.
