The days are shorter, and darkness grows longer,
I am awake now most hours of the day and nite,
My eyes are tired,
But I still can't sleep,
I can feel the shaddows lurking around me,
Shaddows, that have been hidden deep in a closet,
Once defeated, once locked up and the key thrown away,
I thought I had defeated you,
I thought you were gone for good....
Why is it I travel alone through this,
When it happens, its only me who can battle you,
Why when I am among the ones I love I still feel your presence,
I have tried drugs, both legal and illegal,
Your face still comes back to me,
You still invade my head,
You steal my sence of reasoning,
You make it is so it is always dark,
You make it so I am alone,
You make me blind and you make me cry,
I thought I had defeated you,
I thought you were gone for good....
My body is alive, my heart beats and my lungs still breathe,
But you drain my emotions,
You take away my happiness,
You bring back the darkness,
You bring back the tears,
You make me hopeless,
You kill the person inside of me,
I become a hollow shell going through the motions,
I am tainted, I am a bad seed,
I will not bloom,
I am the forsaken one,
Living this nightmare alone,
