I Think My Family Has Cut Me Out Of Their Will.

Think is a big word here.

Having kinda been screwed, not much you can do. Spend whatever money you can now? Hate to think like that

(family was suppose to get 1m -- turned into 1k just to me.... and I refused the check so they couldnt find me and my ma) That was not the reason but we had to walk away from the family-- so it may be a little different...
 
you really should ask to find out for sure rather than stewing in this uncertainty

if this is being used as a threat for leverage (i.e. do what we say or you're out of the will) then it really depends on your relationship with them otherwise. women ime will say really, really cruel/shitty things and not really mean them. men might really cut you off if they're threatening it.

Turns out he was the major executor(?) recipient of the will (or so I heard) --- err would have been.
 
I Am Not Going To Cry Over Spilt Milk. If They Don’t Want Me To Inherit Their Money, Then There’s Not Much I Can Do About It Except Not To Take This Rejection - And It Is A Rejection - Personally But Rather In Stride.

I Am Almost 50 Years Old With Nothing Particularly Meaningful To Do, No Job That Pays At All, And No Romantic Partners. As For That Last One, I Completely Give Up On Romance For Many Reasons, Which Are Mostly Physical In Nature.

I Used To Love Making Friends, But Drugs Were Always A Huge Part Of That. Nowadays, I Don’t Have Any Friends Or Dealers. The Mexicans Won’t Even Sell Me Ice.

CONCLUSION: Being Catapulted (no lie) 4,000 Years Into The Future Is Socially, Romantically, And Professionally More Traumatic To Me Than Space Travel Ever Was.

Because it is financial support. People like literally fucking rely on. People on welfare payments, who don't own anything. People like this get treated so like fucking shit all the time. I promised that if my parents did that I know what I would do. I would get a lawyer, contest the will, and drain the entire estate until there is nothing left.

I had a good friend do that to his parents, his sister would have gotten everything, except his sister ended up with fuck all. The estate was over $5 million. It got whittled away to about $20k.

His sister ended up with $20k. His lawyers ended up with $5M+.

I suspect my parents probably have, but I cannot confirm. If my father dies first, then I think I'll end up with nothing. My stepmother will marry someone else, and they'll inherit the money and then THEIR family will inherit the money. That's how it works.

I'm more than happy to visit my stepmother, but it's ON HER TERMS. If she doesn't want to know me that's fine. Making actions to prevent me from seeing my new nephews because she thinks I'm a weirdo (she doesn't trust me around kids for whatever reason) is one way to destroy my relationship with her. I think if she cuts me out of what I'm entitled to, and I'm entitled to it because my father worked his arse off as a police officer and is entitled to his share of the loot.

Eh it can be more complicated than that -- I was told not to get a job and to go to school instead as an inheritance was coming --- dont worry you can give us this money now 'inheritance coming' to the point you are basically gaslit to stick around and help instead of pursuing your own shit -- in a pre reward-esque guilt trip/manipulation spree. "Really you gunna leave me here, guess you get your money quicker if im left to die" --- etc....That is how my grandfather played my father...and me to a much lesser extent.

Yeaa my lawyer LITERALLY lives in a CASTLE (Old stone the whole thing) in the MIDDLE OF TOWN. With 2 different types of sauna's in it. Lawyers are wild schemers

People will do whatever they can to survive. And also for money. They will do anything. It's a fact. They will even kill their own parents. They only

know how to get what they want and when they want it. They only love themselves. If they even do love themselves at all .

They want someone else to do it for them. People will cut you up and take everything that they can get from you and then blame it on you.

I didn't ask to be born or you shouldn't have let me in your house and it's everyone else's fault not theirs. It's as simple as that. Mentally ill or not,

they will stick you and let you bleed out and then tell you that you were a lousy fuck anyway. Would you want to give everything away that you

worked for and owned to someone like that. I don't. Everyone is a con artist selling snake oil.

So they should learn to work it out like they usually do.
 
I agree -- you should not expect things that are not yours.

That said people should not lead you around by the nose with promises of wealth to come and guilt trips --- you can really only blame yourself if they do.

Shame to see someone betrayed by they children or parents in this regard.

I have known insanely rich ppl that left all of there money to pet projects/charity/ w/e and left they own (good) kids in a fuckered position that they were often largely involved with them being there. (Parenting is kind of influential and all)

IDK I do not have kids and I do not want to leave my money to the state......Id rather pick a random homeless person honestly. Charity I dont trust in that sense, rather really help one or two people.
