I think doing morphine fucked up my oxy tolerance??

Hey I've been using an 80mg oxy (sniffing) every day for about a year and 3 months. I recently started getting the 200mg morphine pills (sustained release) and when I couldn't get oxy I'd do the morphines. Instead of an 80 of oxy a day I'd do a 100mg morphine (orally) and a 40 of oxy (sniffing). I did this combo about once a week and never felt any difference when i did the oxy's. Recently (this past weekend) I did the morphine/oxy combo 4-5 days in a row and now when I do an 80 I don't get the same effect. I don't go through withdrawal or anything but I don't get any buzz at all did doing the morphines fuck up my oxy tolerance?
 
Yes, the morphine has wrecked your tolerance. As seiko stated, a large portion of opiates are cross-tolerant. From reading your post, I'd venture a guess at it happening because of combining the two at such high dosages for a prolonged period. The reason you aren't withdrawing is because you're (obviously) still dosing opiates.

The only way to semi-comfortably way to bring your tolerance back down is to taper until you get to a much much lower dose, however for an addict, it takes iron willpower to have pills on hand and be almost high and not re-dose, restarting the cycle.
 
You were doing 80mgs of oxy for 15 months so that may be part of why your tolerance has gone up & of course adding the fact that you were popping 100mgs of Morphine with 40mgs of Oxy doesnt help. I believe 100mgs of Morphine is equal to 60mgs of Oxy so if you do the math, you upped your dosage to about 100mgs of Oxy it loos like.

It was like adding an extra 20mgs of oxy the way it adds up, hence, the rise of your tolerance.
 
thanks for the input.. cuz usually when i do an 80 i get a buzz not high but when i rip good lines i get a bit high.. but now I can rip an 80 in a day and nothing, i don't go through withdrawal just don't get high at all... so it all makes sense now
 
Hey I also got another quick question/comment didn't want to start a new thread for this but.. my boy who hooks me up on occassion when i can't get off my usual guy went on vacation and put some crazy kush (about a P) in a freeze zip lock with his oc's in it and vacume sealed it, he was gone for a week and when he got back I got a couple off him (80's) and now when ever I sniff them (the 80's) I can smell dank when it goes up my nose (instead of the usual oc chalky smell/taste).. does that make sense that that would happen (that because he air sealed a pound of kush with the pill after a week the pills started smelling like kush when sniffed)?

It sounds like the binders and fillers in the pills absorbed some of the odor, kinda like how Odor Eaters foot powder works. Sounds like a nice little bonus if you ask me.
