I think blotter ink might be making me sick

Certain tabs I've had I've been absolutely fine with, but it seems the hoffman ones make me sick as hell! It's like when I vomit I can really taste the ink. It's fucking gross!

And it's got me thinking, why the fuck do people put toxic ink on blotters? Why not just use frigging white paper??? So annoying!!!

Anyone else experience this?
 
toxic ink? i think it would take a lot more than a blotters worth of ink to be toxic.

look into 25i-NBOMe. its being passed off as LSD a lot of the time nowadays, and its more popular than one would think. they often have a very bitter taste to it.

Seems like he's done lsd before, I've done 25i and it's nothing like lsd, it's just got that digital no emphasis feeling to it that doesn't even compare to the lucid organic && mind-blowingly amazing effects of the great n powerful lsd :D
 
A drug makes you puke and you blame it on ink?

In my experience, placebo effect is strongly potentiated by psychedelics.
 
The only time I puke when I drop LSD is when I take a large strip and it feels like it's stuck in the back of my throat. Then it's in my head I have to puke. Although it damn sure feels like it's stuck there. Like Anon said pretty much. Once it's in your head, chances are it's coming out.

I've done lsd a great many times (and have had it tested too) and know real lsd from 25i (which I've tried and can easily tell the difference between).

I do think it's awful though that people are passing NBOMe's off as acid. It's actually pretty evil really.

Yeah, it could be in my head.. but it could also be that my stomach really doesn't like ink? I mean, it's not exactly normal to ingest ink is it?

What I didn't say before was that I only seem to puke if the blotter has black ink on it. It could well be the case that my stomach really doesn't like black ink..

But yeah, it could be in my head. Am going to seek out white blotters to see if there's any difference.

Also, as I have a bunch of blotters left (that have black ink on them), I'm going to try just holding them under my tongue for like an hour and then just spit them out. Perhaps that'll help?
 
Why on earth would a couple of micrograms of ink of a certain colour make you puke? Come on! Engage some critical thinking.
 
no need to be cruel! It is remotely possible, but no doubt nbome is a more likely culprit.
 
Not impossible but doubtful. Anyone who has had nbome and acid could tell them apart and OP qualifies. I'm suspecting tripping just makes OP puke sometimes, and now that he has the ink idea in his head that the vomit tastes of ink and the conclusion is hard to shake.
 
I puke off of acid sometimes. Even back before the nbomes so I know it was acid. I got a sheet of dirty acid, I can only assume it was dirty acid as I didn't get it tested but the effects were of what I would call dirty acid. tasted funky..not bitter more like patchouli, but everytime I took 4+ hits I would puke from it.

who knows maybe it is just the ink..but I believe dirty dark acid gets passed off on dark colored blotters...I just my theory
 
Might be something to that. Way back in the 90s my guy had a sheet of "lavender" that stained the blotter dark, it wasn't the best in high doses, didn't make me puke but I remember feeling off and sickly.
 
That's why I have the theory of dark colored ink on blotters is to cover up the "lavender" stains.
 
Or maybe a certain design of blotter contains a higher dose of acid than the OP is used to.

LSD can make you puke... Unless you are on bluelight, in which case it is a mythical superdrug with no negative properties.
 
^Where'd you get that? No one here is denying the stomache cramps or heavy jaw-clenching LSD can have. Still, it's very benign feeling compared to a lot of the RCs out there

I just had to login after being dormant for years for that to be repeated:).

You could be engaged in some 'silver' crystal, but that would be better concluded if you were getting the diaphragm cramps that go along with it.
Czech also made me feel queasy, which is what I found in my days of "Hoffman" blotter. Even his death memorial was Czech, which was blaspheme to me.

OP are you in the states? some of the better doses going around the US typically are laid onto blank white watercolor paper. i have a feeling its not the ink giving you trouble, but it might be worth a try
 
Don't blame it on a different drug or the ink straight away. For all you know, that specific batch of acid could of had some impurities in them that are making you sick. Not necessarily a new drug, but a byproduct of synthesis could be there.

EDIT: Could be the ink though. Perhaps OP is allergic to the type of dye used.
 
It doesn't have to be toxic, if you taste it and it tastes toxic to you it can be enough to react to it as if it were toxic. Again because of the power of suggestion.

I subscribe to the idea that psychedelics potentiate the power of suggestion manifold times. For a long time I believed like a lot of others that clean and dirty acid can make a difference. There is a thread on it that is pretty long actually.
But after years I realized something when a user mentioned that LSD that is very pure can also cause the 'dirty reaction'... that is pretty much evidence to the contrary of my beliefs. And there are more examples that amazingly illustrate how very powerful suggestion + psychedelics is (goddamnit I keep writing powderful)
