I have spent all day in the worst panic of my life after these events....I was expecting a package of illegal substance from India. The package was brought to my doorstep today by a USPS guy. There was a 2 minute awkward standoff of me denying knowing what this package was, before I signed for it hesitantly and took it inside. The package obviously sounded like it rattled when it was shaken up. It was coming from India and was clearly seemed to be filled with rattling blister packs. It has been 12 hours since this event and no LEO's have showed up to raid my house.. What is next? Am I being watched? Will my home be raided with a warrant in future days? What is going to happen?? The USPS man drove off without serving mail to my other neighbors as they usually would. Everything about this was sketchy... With controlled drops, are the repercussions immediate if they are coming? I have a horrible feeling about all of this... I can't believe I signed for it.. should have counted my losses. The illegal substance were small and worth less than $100. My home is clean now but I have no idea about the impending doom coming my way... Is anyone on here familiar with a controlled delivery that led to warrant, raid, surveillance? Or are controlled deliveries with repercussions always immediate? Please get back to me ASAP with any info to help

Hi and welcome to bluelight.

Don't worry about that. Your house would have been already raided and destroyed by DEA, SWAT and other alphabets if they would been interested about your 100$ package :P

Just use them as usual. If they contain anti-anxiety pills you feel better after taking some :P

You have posted the exact same question in the Other Drugs subforum, and had a number of responses - even though the question you ask really has nothing to do with Bluelight's purpose - which is to promote and provide harm reduction information for drug users.

Your question is more of a legal query; something that is not be appropriate for anyone here to advise you about. Bluelight is not a legal service, and any legal opinions offered by members here should be treated as speculation, and nothing more.

We are not legal experts, or qualified to comment on matters within your jurisdiction - or any other, for that matter. This is a global forum, and nobody can tell you any more about the particulars of your situation than you have already posted.

Law enforcement procedures can vary significantly from place to place, and from case to case.

Nobody on bluelight can give you an answer to your questions. If you are concerned, perhaps you should consider speaking to a lawyer.

Regardless of what you decide to do - please do not spam the forum with duplicate threads and posts saying the same thing.
If you are not getting the responses you are looking for, it is because we cannot answer all your questions.

If you need legal advice, you need to speak to a lawyer - or at least do some research on "controlled deliveries" and if/how they have been employed by law enforcement in your area.

It really sounds to me like you are panicking about law enforcement with very little reason for doing so, from what you have described.

Nevertheless, this is not something bluelight can help you with in any way.
