I Send Her Messages

sitting in the city,
in the concrete playground,
amongst the colors,
and all the rhythmic sounds.

we exchanged no words,
just watched the scene unfold,
together in our silence,
but apart in different worlds.

I want to tell her everything,
I send her messages through the air,
I open up my soul to her,
I remind her that I care.

wish I knew why it hurts so much,
to know she walks a different road.
maybe it's the way she keeps me warm,
when I tremor from the cold.

we never spent much time together,
but still when I see her,
I can't help but wither pleasantly.
she's a stranger but she's so beautiful to me.
maybe I'm dreaming but I don't care.
