Scathing my eyes
A vertical tear, reality sheared.
What was once true is now blasphemy
An inky blot on the face of man, absorbing into the fabric of time
Never whispered, but never forgotten
It twitches and blinds every moment remembered
The pain, while needing closure, only wrenches and tears
Like a wretch in heat, torn and tattered
Lashing out at those they fail to see
But this right eye sees what is shown, popping from the horror
And running down onto my tongue, tasting the bitter terror
That was rent from the pages of Hell's wrath
Seeming only to destroy what can't be seen
