I rolled 5 days in a row.. now what

Hi FatBelly, (love your username). I'm guessing you're UK based judging by your level of usage? You're right that most people can recover from ridiculous levels of abuse. However, individuals with underlying psychological problems are much more susceptible to damage from MDMA. I had a close friend who abused it daily and ended up as a paranoid schizophrenic. But it came as no surprise to anyone because with hindsight, he was never quite right in the first place. Shit can happen, but its extremely rare...

Hi F.U.B.A.R, yes from the UK a victim of the early rave/acid house scene!

totally agree with you about worsening an existing/underlying issue, I have seen that happen to a few people in my time not many though.

Never know a 100% mentally healthy person develop issues after taking MDMA for a long period of time though. (not saying it DOESNT happen, just havent personally seen it).

Got any more details on this. If I understand, your serotonin levels protect against neurotoxicity which only occurs when the serotonin is depleted? I'd love to read more about this process.

There's a few theories, One of them is oxidized dopamine flooding your receptors but that's still unproven. There was another theory that was more likely like byproducts and mdma it's self causing the neurotoxicity because some of it gets broken down in the brain.

Man, I could have used some of that victimhood in my life. I'm stuck with watching old vids on youtube and listening to hand-me-down vinyl. By the time I got into things around here, a couple of people had died and the cops had cracked down and the whole party morphed into a weird semi-legit enterprise with somewhat questionable pills.
Now it's just the occasional party under a highway bridge, on a beach, or in one of the river valleys when one of the old-timers gets nostalgic.

Okay not saying this is bad advice but your body doesn’t create any dead cells from rolling too much...maybe fry some neurons but you aren’t gonna pee those out lol.

As said, rest, hydrate, exercise, and do not underestimate the impact of a good diet - same as a bad one. Eat all non-processed, fruits, veggies and as many colors overall as you can.

Supplement with NAC to increase glutathione and any other antioxidant supps
Man this is some of the most fucked advice I've read on bluelight so far.

One of the most irresponsible things I’ve ever done in my life. The first two nights were awesome. By the 4th night, I was redosing 50-75mg every hour. By the 5th night I was snorting entire 100mg lines every couple hours. Not doing this again for a VERY long time.

The only negative effects I feel now after all this is low energy, like extremely low energy. Definitely pretty depressed. Mild headache, lack of motivation. And cognitively I feel pretty stupid. What should I do in the meantime to mitigate the side effects and ensure no further damage to my brain?
Sleep. Replenish nutrients. Drink lots of water. Take a nice warm shower, not too hot. Heart rate goes up and you get dizzy and shit lol.. not fun coming down from something that had your heart working hard. Just give your mind and body some serious TLC for the next 5 days or so.

No point in overthinking it what's done is done you shouldn't feel bad about it now time will do it's thing I found it could take some time to get back to feeling like nothing has ever happened though for me it has but yeah you'll be fine.

You should get some rest now .I never done XTC or MDMA but I currently snort meth.

Now it's time to crash .
I been high on meth for 3 weeks with little naps here and there maybe sleeping 5 hours every 2 days while binging on some bomb meth. I just snorted a fat ass line and plan on crashing at 3 a.m. .

You need to take your health seriously the next few weeks.

Hydration
Exercise
Sleep
Diet

most importantly, and I’m a HUGE supplement supporter for drug users:

vitamin C 2000 mg daily/ 2 weeks
ALA daily recommended dose / 2 weeks
NAC daily Rec dose / 2 weeks
Magnesium chelated - 2x daily dose / permanently

I have PERSONALLY witnessed supplements prevent brain damage from drug use. This shit keeps you able to enjoy drugs for a long time.

You know this is very likely a completely pointless advice.

You, unfortunately, don’t know that this advice is medically backed. It’s the best advice that can be given with our current knowledge and I have personally, along with many friends, seen excellent results from utilizing many of those compounds in regards to harm reduction.

However, I always love to learn so if there’s any research you have found that I haven’t then I’d love to give it a read.

I just finished reading a paper on mechanisms of behavioral health disorders and one of the most common recurrences, also backed by genetic research, is impaired energy production and increased ROS production within the brain. Those compounds have been shown to be quite effective at preventing oxidative damage due to the aforementioned reason among others.

It may seem like a fascinating find to someone who's into MDMA, but I have to admit that I feel I know better, and don't like it enough myself to find that interesting.

I just find it weird because to you 'frying some neurons' is completely irrelevant part of your statement. It naturally looked to me as an outrageous message, even if well intended.

I'm sure supplements may work for some people - but whether that's a placebo or real effect is open to debate. I personally never use any supplements as I find them prohibitively expensive and would prefer to spend the money on real drugs that get me mashed..
