One of the most irresponsible things I’ve ever done in my life. The first two nights were awesome. By the 4th night, I was redosing 50-75mg every hour. By the 5th night I was snorting entire 100mg lines every couple hours. Not doing this again for a VERY long time.

The only negative effects I feel now after all this is low energy, like extremely low energy. Definitely pretty depressed. Mild headache, lack of motivation. And cognitively I feel pretty stupid. What should I do in the meantime to mitigate the side effects and ensure no further damage to my brain?

Lots of water, lots of rest and don't roll for quite some time.

Some people would recommend 5-htp. I've only tried it once for 2 days following my last roll. I felt so depressed those first couple days. Not sure if the 5-htp helped or hurt.

5-htp. Does help as well as
Now Foods, True Focus, 90 Veg Capsules and
Now Foods, L-Tyrosine, 500 mg, 120 Capsules
Lots and lots of water, all day, just pee a real lot. your body needs to remove all the dead cells you have created and make new healthy one.
CoQ10 and Glutimine also help cell production.
Sorry for font fuck up, I do not know what happened

Okay not saying this is bad advice but your body doesn’t create any dead cells from rolling too much...maybe fry some neurons but you aren’t gonna pee those out lol.

As said, rest, hydrate, exercise, and do not underestimate the impact of a good diet - same as a bad one. Eat all non-processed, fruits, veggies and as many colors overall as you can.

Supplement with NAC to increase glutathione and any other antioxidant supps

Five days straight on a roll
Trust me you have done damage on a cellar level to your body ( it’s why you feel so wonderful when you finally stop!!)
You body is always losing and creating cells
But to each his own
I would Never roll for 5 days straight

You should avoid rolling so often in the future, Neurotoxicity is said to begin within an hour or two after there's minimal serotonin left. This is why you should also avoid redosing after 60-90 minutes.

To answer your question though Eat foods rich in tryptophan like bananas or supplement 5-htp which I'd also recommend, Plenty of water, Stay away from saturated fats and junk food, Exercise. Maybe even consider researching piracetam and lions mane to reverse some neurotoxicity even though it's likely not much.

I only used to do E's on a weekend, Fri, Sat, Sun. Then I'd feel so low & rough till about Thurs when I started to feel better, then we'd do the same thing again on Fri and then repeat every weekend for 15 years. Mixed in with speed, acid, ket, coke, dmt and weed/hash

I packed it in 10 years ago and my brain is fortunately OK, I know TONS of people that took HUGE quantitys of E's/MDMA/MDA/Ketamine from 1989-2005 and they are all normal people now, some even still do it occasionally

just smoke some weed, eat, drink and sleep and youll be fine in a few days, dont worry

Got any more details on this. If I understand, your serotonin levels protect against neurotoxicity which only occurs when the serotonin is depleted? I'd love to read more about this process.

No one is fully certain and it’s still debated a lot.

I haven’t researched this in a while but I’m going to throw out a couple thoughts as to why.

We know it isn’t due to simple over abundance of HT and down-regulation of receptors. However, serotonin is implicated in blood flow and vasoconstriction. We see decreased blood flow to certain brain regions in heavy users of MDMA and I think you could postulate that a prolonged flood of HT, or possibly depletion, could change blood flow in the brain.

Additionally, the release of HT is going to decrease later on due to reuptake inhibition. However, I’d imagine that dopamine release would still occur to a significant extent. At this point you’re adding DA to a situation with high potential for oxidation and the auto-oxidation of dopamine and interaction with 5HT transporters could be one of the mechanisms of damage.

Hi FatBelly, (love your username). I'm guessing you're UK based judging by your level of usage? You're right that most people can recover from ridiculous levels of abuse. However, individuals with underlying psychological problems are much more susceptible to damage from MDMA. I had a close friend who abused it daily and ended up as a paranoid schizophrenic. But it came as no surprise to anyone because with hindsight, he was never quite right in the first place. Shit can happen, but its extremely rare...
