So, for example, when I talk to somebody and than I leave, I often catch myself repeating the last sentence that I just said to myself (out loud) multiple times. Just a moment ago I repeated some sentences I said (out loud), of a conversation that happened more than 3 hours ago. I cannot control it (well I guess I sort of can if I pay attention).

Is this strange? What does this say about me?

You should talk to someone, it doesnt sound like its causing you that much concern, your tone in that post doesn't sound too distraught anyway, so thats good, but it does sound like something that would be worth having checked out by a psychiatrist. Certainly nothing to stress about though. :)

Classic OCD symptom. It doesn't get more textbook than that.

OCD is generally triggered by stress.

i have aspergers and i just noticed this yesterday (trying to taper my clonazepam script, which exacerbates the aspergers). interesting mental event, lol.

Did this for a year or 2 when i was a child. I remember i would super quietly whisper the last few words of every sentence uncontrollably. Went away on its own..
