Ok, this thread is not stupid, its a valid question, just because half of bluelight can down shitloads of alcohol like water doesnt mean the rest of the world can. Weather or not the outcome or weather it works is valid is what the thread is about, but the idea and the OP have valid points in trying.
Second, dont say alcohol is a horrible drug, i can guarantee anyone saying this is either A)not predisposed to alcoholism, or B)already an alcoholic trying or succesfull in quitting, in both cases you wont see the same value in alcohol as an alcoholic. In most cases alcoholics get a different response from alcohol than do normal people, in particular (correct me alkys

alcohol causes more euphoria in an alcoholic than a normal person.
SO now, the idea that gel caps will disolve from anything is false, it depends on the solvent, some solvents dont disolve gelcaps. That doesnt mean you can use those solvents for consumption of said gelcap, but not everything disolves gelcaps, period.
In addition, gelatin is not bad for you, depending on the actual composition, its usually USP grade gelatin which is even more pure than the crap in jello, for which half the country is known for eating SHITLOADS of it at a time.
Gelatin will not hurt you, regardless of how much you eat. The morons who put poppies in gel caps and then noticed "digestive problems" are either incredibly stupid not to realize the POPPIES cause digestive problems, or they attributed the problems to the gelatin out of sheer chance and ignorance.
For the OP (If there still reading after 100 useless posts):
If you really want to use alcohol in this way you should be aware of a few things, first alcohol metabolism causes alcohol to be released into the lungs, and out into your breath, it has nothing to do with your tongue.
Second, no matter how it gets into your stomache, percentages higher than 50% alcohol in water, are dangerous to the lining of the stomache. the more water you remove the worse it gets, so high percentage alcohol, while it might be easier to get more in a capsule, will eventually cause stomache damage.
As well, part of the primary action of alcohol is its rate of absorbtion, both metabolism and absorbtion of the alcohol into the blood impact the effect it has on you, if you delay this you will get far far less of an effect.
Alcohol works as a drug simply because you take more of it than your body can metabolise at once, hence it gets into the blood stream anyway after a certain amount is consumed. If you delay this by using gelcaps or in the (implied) direction this thread is going, by absorbing alcohol into a powder of some kind, to be put into a capsule, this is even MORE delayed.
And the more you delay absorbtion the less effect alcohol has, your body eventually can metabolise all the alcohol, and if you arent getting it in your system fast enough to keep ahead of metabolism it isnt going to do anything but make you feel horrible.
