I once had dreams
Of a pink tu-tu
and satin slippers
and graceful legs
And then I dreamed
Of stars and spaceships
and launchpads
and lift-off
That dream changed
To dragons and swords
and knights and armor
And I, a damsel in distress
And still I dreamt on
Of butterflies and wood-nymphs
faeries and butterflies
and gnomes with magic
But then I grew
And as I grew
I awoke
and the dreams faded
And now I lay awake and think
Of stress and troubles
and worries and cares
and tests of time
And most of all I dream
That I could dream once again
